If that is the only reason you want a six pack then it may be worth it if you are trying to attract a shallow and usually conceited girl. If you want something more than that then I would say you are wasting your time because a six pack isn't what is going to make her want to date you.

I exercise regularly and I eat well. I have tried things like side crunches, but they focus on the obliques at the front, I need an exercise that works on the sides of my lower back right down to my glutes.Answers: A lot of cardio and watching what you eat. Also try side crunches. I fluctuate in my weight and I can tell when I am eating too much when I begin to gain weight on my sides. When I notice this I watch how much I eat and what type of food I eat and they go away. Good luck!

Answers: Cycling is the best for toning your thighs. Either outdoors on a real bicycle, or on a bicycle machine at a gym. 20 minutes a day cycling is enough to do wonders.

Do both the inner and outer thigh exercises, so you get a well-toned, well sculpted thighs whole length!
Do the routine 3-4 times per week for 10-15 mins per session.
Better still, throw in a round of cardio, 3-4 times per week for at least 30 mins per session, to accelerate your metabolic rate, to burn off excess body fat from your entire body (that includes fat stored in your thighs too).

i wouldn't really eat it. i'd like to be a vegetarian but my iron levels were too low and it's too hard to cook special meals when living with a family.

Well if you remove meat from the standard western diet, then you will end up not getting enough nutrition.
You can replace this easily by eating foods high in protien, such as beans, lentils and tofu.
If you cut out all animal products (dairy, eggs etc) then you have more problems. Usually you then need to add in seeds and nuts.
Vegans very often suffer from nutrition related health problems if they don't take care to eat properly, while vegetarians usually have little problem.

not to sound like a fanatic, but meat nowadays is pretty harmful. what with the chemicals fed to the animals to increase production as well as all the nasty things used to preserve and enhance the appearance of it. bleh!
i'm personally a happy vegetarian. i don't eat too many of the "fake meats" on the market today (it's just a personal preference) although i can't seem to escape veggie chick'n strips in my stir-fries. in general, i eat lots of rice, beans, fruits and vegetables (i try to get fresh, local produce whenever i can), soy products, whole grains, teas. and lots of water. as a diet, it's far more environmentally sound. and without the animal proteins, i've literally cut out most of the fats and cholesterol that most people don't even realize that they're eating while still getting healthy sources of protein.

i like to run, it gets my mind off things. but i can't run fast and i can't run for a long time without getting out of breathe. is there anything i could do to run faster and longer?Answers: When i started running, I was completely unfit. You just need to get used to it, your legs get stronger & you can breathe easier each time. Just stick with it. Focus on your breathing, deep in deep out. Take some music to distract you too, nothing kills the enthusiasm like thinking how sore or out of breath you are.

so you run for as long as you can then walk or jog for a few minutes then repeat for as long as you want to go. i'd say at least 30mins.
interval traing is the best for weight loss and fitness as it keeps raising and lowering your heart rate.
How long have you been running? If you've just started a week to a month and a half ago, start slower with shorter times and build up. You're not quite in shape yet.
If you've been running for a while and still get out of breath, you could have exercise-induced asthma. See your doctor.

Ok I'm on my brother's yahoo so this is a girl asking this.I was wondering if I eat less calories do 300 situps a day and 100 pushups a day I was wondering if I would lose weight and tone up? Oh and jump rope 20 minutes a day too.
Answers: YES!!! It would keep you fit like hell!! and toner, too!! I don't know if you could stick to this, though. Just trust yourself and maybe run. Running will keep you fit. and the jump roping 20 freaking minutes!!! I could never do that!! I could run, but not jump rope. I suck at it.

technicaly no, your body has to be exerting for 20min. before you even start burning fat. Your situps and pushups sound good, but nothing will get you the gain/effort porportions that weights give.
Having said that after a few weeks you will notice a difference, I'm just saying you could get more gain for the same ammount of work/effort at a gym if you changed up your exercises.
Also remember that fast twitch or large muscle fibers give greater deffinition and are built with high weight-low rep workouts. Slow twitch fibers go for longer periods of time and therefore are built through low weight high rep training (like pushups and situps) but these build smaller and less defined muscles.
i really dont think 300 sit ups can be done if u r just starting to work out. also 100 pushups is to much. start at 10 push ups and 35 sit ups and work ur way up. and start at 5 min of jump rope.

listen i just want to no if my son can lose wait like that in a month. if possible tell me how he can do itAnswers: Even if he excersied all day long, the average weight lose is about 2-4 pounds a week, which means 8-16 pounds a month. Get him to excerise everyday for at least an hour, have him exercise for 20 mins, take a 5 min break, then go back to it. An hour hour and a half a day should be good. He'll be losing weight in no time.
He could get his legs amputated. Together they would weigh about 30 pounds.
How much does he way to begin with? It probably isn't healthy to drop weight that fast. It didn't go on that fast.
