I assume you are male. You could reasonably lose about 16 pounds if you start NOW by:
Cutting your calories to 1500 per day (DO NOT go below 1200!).
Drinking 10-12 cups of water a day.
Eating as many colors of fruits and veggies as you can a day.
Eating lean meats (salmon, tuna, skinless chicken and turkey breast).
Consuming only skim milk (3 cups/day)
Eating whole grains.
Eliminating sodas (diet and regular), sweetened teas, coffees, and juices from your diet.
Eliminating foods and drinks that have the words "enriched," "high fructose," "sugar," and "hydrogenated" in the first five ingredients.
Doing good quality cardio (75-80% of maximum heart heart rate) 45-60 minutes/day, 5-6 days/week. MHR = 220-age.
Lifting weights 4 days a week for 23-45 minutes. Legs & abs Monday, Thursday. Upper body and back Tuesday, Friday.

Only eat healthy food and cut down on Carb’s like bread, potatoes, pasta's, rice, cereals, lollies, fruits etc. These are the fat making foods. Learn exactly what your food groups are so you then know what puts the weight on and off.
Don’t add salt to your meals. Cut out soft drinks.
Then walk an hour every morning two hours after a meal and the same in the afternoon.
If you can jog in between both sessions you'll burn even more calories. But just do what your body lets you do. Walking is just as good combined with diet control.
You should lose and continue to lose more weight as you go.
If you can cut out your lunch meal and replace it with a protein drink instead that would also help. Available in supermarkets. Like “Slim Right”.
As long as you can stay off junk food and eating in between meals. If you have to eat something in between have something like small raw carrots or celery sticks.
Herbal teas, low fat milk and water are your best choice of drinks.

If we don’t eat enough protein then our body searches for other sources of protein contained within the Carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates only contain a small amount of protein so we end up consuming too much of it just to get out limit of protein. At the same time absorbing too much sugar from the carbohydrates and in turn too much weight. This is how and why we put on weight. Many people over eat because they don’t consume enough protein from the right sources. Then they over compensate by binge eating carbohydrate type foods.
Whats the easiest way to work the muscles around the breasts and to lose a few inches there?
I want to go down a bra size, but im not sure how to target those muscles from under the arm pit and around the upper back shoulder areaAnswers: To work the muscles around the breasts, do pushups and flys (flys are when you lay on a bench with a couple weights in each hand, hold them in front of you, then lower them away from each other with straight arms). This will tighten up the muscles.
To lose a few inches you have to diet, while it is impossible to tell the body where you want to lose the weight (although that would be great) you'll lose overall inches, including the breasts.

do that and hold a medicine ball
squats( hold arms out in front, bend you knees almost to 90degrees
do that chair against the wall thing (back flat against the wallknees 90 degrees)

Has anyone used acupuncture....?
Has anyone used acupuncture too lose weight and help with any other health problems? What were the health problems and did it seem to work fast?Answers: I have tried the acupuncture thingy and i got much success....Well i think every Doc. does it differently cause i was told only to eat meat and drink water, nothing else no ketchup or hot sauce or any other sauce, just the plain meat and water...Yes the meat was seasoned but that's it. But when i stopped taking the acupuncture the wait started coming back, but i was told by a friend once i stop taking the acupuncture i should start the gym to maintain the weight loss....
I did accupuncture for about 3 months. I went for other issues but he said he placed a pin in for weight loss. I didnt see any results at all. He then started trying to sell me all these pills and shakes. I refused to take them and he acted like I was being a problem. I have since found a great endocrinologist that diagnosed me with PCOS and have lost 20 pounds without even trying.
I do have 2 other friends that continue to see the accupuncture guy. One swears it controls her back pain and the other one thinks it is helping her neck pain. He has put her on a cleansing diet to assist with the weight loss. I just didnt have any personal success but everybody is different.
Exercise, post hospital? I "can't over-do it."?
I was just in the hospital for anemia and loss of blood, and the cardiologist told me to avoid athletics. Are there any at-home exercises I can do to get/stay in shape?Answers: Well if they said to avoid "athletics" i don't think you want to exercise for another week or two, just until you fully recover. I would just do that just to make sure. But if you really want to you could maybe get one of those exercise balls and use that. Or you could try and lift 5 pounds on your arms to stay in shape for you arms and maybe try Leg lifts for your legs. If you don't know what leg lifts are, they are where you lay flat on the floor, put your hand like under you, and then lift your legs up to a 90 " angle, and then back down, but you don't touch the floor with your legs, and you go back up, you could do about 5 of those too. Don't Overdue it and Good luck!
Should I eat snacks in between meals, even if I'm not hungry??
i'm losing weight and people say to eat two snacks and three meals a day. should i eat the snacks in between breakfast and lunch, and lunch and dinner, even if i'm not hungry? that doesnt make sense to me.Answers: No, you should be fine, although eating often, even if it's half of an apple helps keep your metabolism up, by giving it something to burn instead of kicking it into starvation mode, which can happen, especially if your cutting calories.
Yes it keeps your body going... if u r not hungry then u should be eatin smaller meals... the 3 meals u eat should be small..

What is the best exercise for me to do?
I dont have any weights or machines or anything all i have is 7 acres of land....Answers: HELLO run, play out side, and use what you have to work out. Do wall squats, chair dips, push up, sit ups, use water bottels as weights. You can do so much with out weights. Plus do what you can out side you have the land use it.
Well, depending on what it is ur tryin to accomplish... running is the best... theres certainly nothin wrong with walking... riding a bike is always easier on the joints and muscles...

eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, so

don't sit in front of the tv while eating.
pretty much pay attention only to your food when you eat
also allow your body to tell you when you're hungry, when it growls, eat.
do aerobic exercises
do 2 30min exercises then have a 20 min break you'll lose more wight than not taking breaks at all
play music that you enjoy, or music that makes you feel like dancing to you'll exercise more/longer
you can run in one place for 15 min per day or more.
or run up and downstairs. or jog/run/walk around your block.
then slowly increase the time, by 5 min per day.
and if you're gonna do sit-ups, cutches, pull=ups, etc. add 10 per day
starving will get you skinnier but at the end of it when you eat normally again your body will be saving it,
and you'll gain weight faster
like bears saving their food for the winter.

If you get cravings in afternoon, it means you're not getting enough food in the day.
Have and extra half apple, or an extra of something healthy for breakfast or have a snack before

Lunch: salad w/ chicken breast(broiled)

Do not eat less than 3 healthy meals a day. This is not healthy and you are slowing down your metabolism. Trust me....been there...done that! It does not work to starve yourself!
Here is the secret.....
The way you lose weight and fat is by increasing your metabolism. And the way you achieve this is by eating 5 to 6 small healthy meals per day with a little exercise.
My brother and I lost a lot of weight during our first and second week of exercising. I believe in my case....it was mostly water weight. I lost 5 pounds in several days and my waistline was definitely slimmer.
Our morning and evening exercise routine consisted of a 30-minute combination of ab exercises, stationary bicycling, push-ups and Taebo-style aerobic workout.
However, after the third week of exercise, I noticed that the weight was not coming off as easily.
So, I decided to add lifting weights from tips I found in a fitness article from the website at http://xrl.us/7if7
My weight really started coming off quick with the easy weight training and we did it all from home. I ate the same food as before which consisted of:
Breakfast
3 scrambled eggs, slice of wheat toast, yogurt
oatmeal or....
Special K cereal with banana
protein shake or water
Mid-Morning Snack
apple sauce, unsalted sunflower seeds, few pieces of cantelope
Lunch
turkey or chicken sandwich (ingredients: whole grain wheat bread with mustard, mesquite turkey or chicken, lettuce and tomato)
water or cranberry juice
tangerine or orange
yogurt
salad
Post Lunch
fruit
yogurt
unsalted cashews
Dinner
rice
steamed or slightly boiled vegetables (squash, cucumbers, carrots, green beans, onions, garlic, red or green pepper)
beets
water or protein shake
Post-Dinner
Yogurt or....
4 or 5 ginger snaps or.....
2 slices of tomatoes with a small portion of turkey or skinless chicken
water
Stay away from the following food/drinks:
-soda
-fried foods
-fast food
-sweets and desserts (cake, crème cookies, pies, etc.)
-pork (bacon, sausage)
-potato chips
The simple weight training along with the meal plan burned the fat and calories like magic.

My opinion, I don't think 5 lbs will make a difference, but it may boost your self esteem.
Easiest way is maybe to just drink more water and less soda. If you don't drink soda, cut out something simple like desert or fast food.
