The answer to this is a complex one, yet it is to do. When deciding to lose weight you have to consider your personal body make-up. What are your life style habits, where does your body store excess body fat, and several other factors play into this.
Remember you have work to get results so if you are not committed to losing weight and or changing your life style to match what you want you will never get where you want to go. There are several ways to get started but first I would recommend keeping a journal for 3-4 weeks before you start the process. It will help you to determine when, what, and why you eat what you do. After you have established a pattern then you can begin to examine it to see where you can eliminate wasted calories and other items.
Also muscle burns more calories than fat, therefore if you start an aerobic routine just to tone and firm your muscles your body will begin to burn more calories. IF you are serious about the process I can always provide you with good online resources to help you.

first don't eat at night a lot ~ eat dinner & stop eating when you feel a little hunger (drink a lots of water it will help you feel full)
running helps to ~ at least 5-10 minutes a day (maybe you are not gonna see difference in a day but after one week, sure!!)
if you eat many jump food or bread, stop it ~ start eating healthy food, it's really gonna affect ur body in a good way
don't eat a lot (maybe first time you'll feel hungry but then it's gonna be ur habit)
remember don't just stop eating at all , do everythin gradually

Answers: Yes it definitely is, however male eating disorders are becoming more common
Anorexia is very common in females, but is also quite common in males.
The main difference is that the females (not all) that get anorexia tend to look very thin and even boney.
Males (again not all) sometimes revert to anorexia when trying to gain muscle mass and they will only eat certain things and then train loads.
The main thing to remember about anyone who is anorexic, is that they may not look thin, anorexia is about not eating or not wanting to eat the right foods or the right amount of foods.

Answers: it is very unhealthy to lose weight so fast and to weigh yourself daily thats pretty normal a lot of people do that your mom well i think that she is getting to close and you should tell her to back off a little but remember to tell her that you should always be happy with the way you are whether its skinny fat or normal and she should be happy with you and little girls get hollister clothes and they see the models and they look up to them sometimes because they see the models they think that they should look just like them and they should be themselves so remember that you are always in the eyes of someone else and to never think that you are to skinny or fat
Believe me she's just worried since you already lost so much weight. The sex thing is also normal, I would highly recommend you not do it at your house ever. While sex as a teenager is normal, she is just trying to protect you, make sure you don't grow up too fast and get jaded and hurt by other people until she feels like you have enough life skills to deal with it.
Since you feel she is prying too much tell her what you told us, that you lost the weight for the modeling, but you haven't gone under 100 lbs. and you would appreciate it if she'd stop snooping during your bathroom time.
BTW I think 145 for someone who is 5'8" is fine, and I also think 100 lbs is wayyy too thin. However, I live in the real world and realize that as a model you need to be thin, but I would still be careful. I also don't think you should worry about weighing yourself everyday since you need to maintain your weight for work.
Ah - it's a mom thing. I went through some of the same things with my mother. I'm glad I have a son now. :)
It will get easier. I promise. Chances are she loves you so much that she just doesn't want you to get hurt. She's trying to protect you, and by doing that she's driving you crazy.
The best thing to do is talk to her. I'm not talking about yelling, whining, cussing... I'm talking about a grown-up, responsible, rational discussion. Perhaps if she sees you acting in that way it will be easier for her to give you some space.
It's probably not so much about trust. She's just deathly afraid of something happening to you.

Went to the doctor?
I already knew this was coming, I went to a new doctor today, she was really nice and I knew she was going to tell me I'm overweight. She wants me to lose 30 pounds..Very hard to exercise with a 3 year old all day..HELPAnswers: I have a 4 year old and I make a game of it with him. We exercise together. Sometimes I challenge him with "I bet I can do more than you" and we count leg lifts or whatever we are doing.
Putting him in stroller and going for a brisk walk is another activity. Sometimes I have to shake it up so he doesn't get bored with the same "game" everyday.
Sometimes he's not in the mood and I have to break out the DVDs or some other activity that I usually don't indulge.
Try starting with how you eat before you worry about how much you exercise. I'm willing to believe that with a 3 year old you're probably not sitting around idle very much! If you have the time, talking to a dietitian is going to be your best bet. If you don't have time, get a hold of the government recommended food guide as a start.
If you want to lose weight permanently, you have to make habitual lifestyle changes. That means that even small changes can be significant. Don't worry about trying to lose 30 pounds in a few months - that will never work - instead, make your overall lifestyle healthier. Take the stairs, skip the fries, eat lean meats and more veggies. If my mother was 5'4 and 150 lbs would she be able to fit into regular sizes?
My Mom, who is 49, gained weight because of a thyroid problem. If she got down to 150 lbs would she be able to fit into regular sizes. Keep in mind she's older, has a post-menopausal apple shape, and doesn't carry a lot of muscle mass. She can't really work out because of health problems either.Answers: sound like mom is a bit over weight, being post-menopausal has nothing to do with shape. It really depends on what you mean by "regular sizes". weight loss with thyroid problems can be really hard. other than the obviouse smaller portions and jogging/walking, I do know that LA Weight Loss has a program for people with thyroid issues.
I'm not sure what you mean by ( regular sizes ) i'M 5' 4 AND 120 LBS AND i WEAR A SIZE 7, SO YES I think she would still wear a regular size.
My friend has been takin her moms weight loss pill.... 14 years old. will she be ok?

Answers: BAD IDEA! this could lead to heart complications. you really should avoid taking them especially if you are that young. that is too much for such a young body. write a note to her mom and don't sign her name. your friend will be mad if she thinks you told on her, but you need to be a good friend and protect her from herself.
i know a 13 yr old that had a heart attack because of diet pills she was sneaking. she lived but it really messed her up.

since there isnt any ephedra in it i dont think its really gonna hurt her. a diet a pill is equal to two cups of coffee. i would just try to explain to her that taking those diet pills arent going to help her. (unless shes dieting and exercising) i kno shes only 14 but i think the only reason why u have to be 18 is incase it hurts you and they got sue the company bc shes not an adult. i dont think they will hurt her because shes only taking 1 a day. no she wont die.

Only eat healthy food and cut down on Carb’s like bread, potatoes, pasta's, rice, cereals, lollies, fruits etc. These are the fat making foods. Learn exactly what your food groups are so you then know what puts the weight on and off.
Don’t add salt to your meals. Cut out soft drinks.
Then walk an hour every morning two hours after a meal and the same in the afternoon.
If you can jog in between both sessions you'll burn even more calories. But just do what your body lets you do. Walking is just as good combined with diet control.
You should lose and continue to lose more weight as you go.
If you can cut out your lunch meal and replace it with a protein drink instead that would also help. Available in supermarkets. Like “Slim Right”.
As long as you can stay off junk food and eating in between meals. If you have to eat something in between have something like small raw carrots or celery sticks.
Herbal teas, low fat milk and water are your best choice of drinks.
Summary:
Choose a cereal low in sugar for breakfast. Remember all cereals are carbohydrates!
Lunch can best be a protein drink. Like “Slim Right”.
And all normal meals at a normal serve. Cut down on potatoes and only have small portions of these. Walking as much as you can.
For those that want to build more muscle add some gym work to the above as well.
Technical Stuff:
All our bodies require a specific quantity of a protein level. The protein is taken from the food we eat. If we eat higher concentrations of protein from specific foods like say meat then that level is reached quickly. If we don’t eat enough protein then our body searches for other sources of protein contained within the Carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates only contain a small amount of protein so we end up consuming too much of it just to get out limit of protein. At the same time absorbing too much sugar from the carbohydrates and in turn too much weight. This is how and why we put on weight. Many people over eat because they don’t consume enough protein from the right sources. Then they over compensate by binge eating carbohydrate type foods.
Doing it together can help your body adjust easier, since your body has to readjust your skin and movements.
Is a treadmill just like walking outside except it doesn't have fresh air?
Answers: Walking outside will burn more calories because you are typically working more muscles ~ arms for instance ~ and your body is constantly balancing and rebalancing itself with each step. On a treadmill each step is the same, there is no need to adjust or compensate for imperfections in the road/sidewalk.
Walking or running outside is more intense because you have nothing to hold on too. Both can be effective but 1 mile outside is a lot harder than 1 mile on the treadmill.

Slouching / back muscle?
Over the past week or two, i've noticed that i slouch quite alot. I've been trying to change that by keeping my back up and my shoulders back but after say 30 minutes of walking down a street, it tends to ache a little bit and i feel more comfortable slouching. I have quite a skinny waist (30 inches i think) would building up some muscle in my back help me keep a good posture? How would i train my back muscles if so?Answers: Try do some yoga to strengthen your back, im not sure of any other techniques in which you can strengthen it.
