Has anyone tried that diet pill flush the fat?

i just started taking it, and i dont wanna sound gross but it makes u go poo like crazy! its like a laxative. i guess thats a good thing if ur constipated but does it really get rid of fat too? im just wondering....
Answers: No, but if it does that to you, try something else. your body might have a different effect then somebody else who might use this pill. A good fat burner pill is Ripped Fuel, or a fat blocker pill, which will block some of the fat from going into your digestive system
Don't bother either It will make you PO or pee or drain you of vitamins you need. Nothing can substitute for eating less, the right things and daily exercise of a half an hour or more. try to include whole grains and higher fiber items that fill you for longer period of time.

Curves or Ladies Workout Express? Which one?

Does anyone have any experience with either one of these Ladies Gyms?
Answers: if you are working out with limited time, then curves is ok, but it is not a great workout, not enough cardio
I have to say if you're serious about weight loss, I would go with neither of them and opt for a place like one you can find on http://www.fitnesscamps.net/ or by going on google and typing in weight bootcamp or fitness camps or something like that. I've visited a few places, and i have to say that they create awesome weight loss and they reset your mindset with regards to food. They're great for momentum building and to jumpstart a diet and they really really work. I can't believe how much they changed my life. They CAN get kind of pricey, but how priceless is your health with real results? Something to be considered at elast. I hope this helps, good luck!

Help please with weight training and dier (proteins)?

ok im 17years old, 65kilos and 175cm tall. im fairly thin-average size. I do weight training but i dont take enough protein. Im confused what protein to take, with carbs, without carbs, 50/50 carbs protein etc... im lost. below there is a link with images of me, have a look and let me know what you think. do i need to gain more weight? what type of protein product do i take?

Answers: First thing I noticed was that it says you are ***26 YEARS OLD*** Hmmmmm.......
Bro, I would be careful about jumping on "weight gainer" powders. Unless you're prepared to spend 2 hours in a gym every day you will a stomach in no time. Just buy a good whey protein powder and go for 1 to 1.5 gram of protein for each pound of body weight. (1.5 is better for you) Also good to note that 2 grams of complimentary carbs per pound of body weight is healthy.

If you really want a chiseled, low body fat, "Bruce Lee" look, drop your carbs to 1.5 grams per pound. Also note to take 50% of your protein intake by powders, as it will increase absorbtion to muscle tissue. And juice all day for vitamins and phyto chemical balance.

Also I would go for a 2500 calorie per day diet - cycle that off and on for 3 months at a time. You be huge in around 1 year.

Juicing is important, don't forget!!

If you are conscious of your weight, try to avoid clingy clothes, but nothing too baggy. Accentuate your best features! If you like high heels, long skirts and bootleg jeans they are all great- and babydoll tops are cute and flattetring to all figures too!

Steer clear of horizontal stripes. Verticals and dark colours will work well.

Also remember that the key to looking great is smiling and confidence!!89 does not mean fat!! Curves are much better than stick thin girls. If your happy and healthy you will glow no matter what size you are.

i'm very concerned about your weight, i think you should add some bulk to your body, i fear for your health

clothes really don't improve your appearance when you're that small
you are not over-weight at all. you should gain at least 15-20 pounds to be healthy! (that's if you're 5' to 5'3"... if you are taller than that you should be closer to 120 or 130. don't pay attention to the number you weigh! i had an eating disorder when i was younger.. i thought eating was wrong.. i thankfully recovered from being anorexic through the help of my family and friends. good luck. first step is realizing you have a problem and need help. don't try to hide it anymore.

Size 12 are a bit loose ?

i bought a pair of troussers and a pair of denim shorts for night outs but they appear to be really loose could i be a size 10 i have been cutting down alot on junk food and feeling alot lighter please can somebody help me if i have to take the clothes back and get smaller sizes? oh i have been going to the gym 4 days a week.
Answers: enjoy taking the clothes back, and shop for a smaller size.My closet is full of all sizes. waiting to get into them again.
Just spend a few evenings feeding your face with hamburgers, pizza's and KFC etc. Eat plenty of chocolate and have a goodly number of beers or G&T's etc. You'l find that your new clothes will soon shrink to fit you very closely in no time at all.

Of course if you are under age for alcohol, I guess I should warn you that you should leave out the alcohol and maybe have lots of full fat milk drinks instead. I wouldn't want anyone to accuse me of leading you astray now!

That will save you making the jouney back to the shop to exchange the items for a smaller size!

Has the master cleanse aka lemonade diet NOT worked for anyone before?

hey all...i have been reading abt the master cleanse aka lemonade diet alot these few wks..
it sounds really convincing and from what i read it seems like many ppl benefited from it. What i want to know is, whether it has NOT worked for any one of you.

worked as in if any of you have not lost weight at all after the diet was complete. Also, I am aware that this is only a cleanse and its not for permanent weight loss.

Diets like this often cause people to lose muscle which will reduce metabolism (rate at which energy is used by the body) so when you've lost your weight there is a good chance you will put it back on (if not quicker than last time). Try a dietition is my best advice.

I want to exercise but I cannot stay caught up with the exercise videos.?

And I dont know what I can do that will actually work. And I cannot get into the positions that they do in the videos.
Answers: Start off slow with walking and lifting light weights. Work your way up to the harder videos.
Usually exercise videos have one or two people that are doing the moves "low impact" you may want to try and focus on those people in the video and do the moves like they do them.

Also, its not so much as keeping up with the exercises, just do as many as you can, as safely as possible (make sure you keep the right posture/position) and move to the next exercise when they do.

You may also want to check out some beginner exercise dvd's. They are usually slower and low impact so it will be easier to keep up with!

Hello...me a girl of 14 and with a height 5'1 is it okay?

actually ...may be it seem okay for you but im not happy and want to be at least 5'4 or 5'5...
i've noticed that my height is not increasing from a pretty long time....m worried....please give me some advice to increase my height naturally without any limb operation or any kind of height increasing shoes...
my dad is 5'11 and my mom is 4'11
im afraid that i don't remain a shorty like my mom....as i love being tall...at least average height should be there....hope you understand

Answers: You may be done growing but if you're not it's going to be happening very soon. Make sure you eat enough food to get all your nutrients everyday and don't overdo the exercise. Also, and I know I'll get shite for this, but our minds are more powerful than most people realize. If you concentrate on wanting your body to grow taller, and you REALLY meditate on it with every bit of concentration you have, as often as possible, it couldn't hurt. Weirder things have happened. As far as 5'1 being "okay"- definitely. Sure it's shorter than average but not extreme or anything. I have a friend who is 4'11 and it's not even an issue.

Hi. Both my daughters (14 and 19) are shorter than I am. My youngest daughter has grown about an inch in the last several months whereas she hadn't grown for several months before that.

I read somewhere that boys tend to take after the father and grow taller than him but girls take after the mother and usually stay close to her height. That said, my neice is taller than both her father and her mother!

Unfortunately, you cannot do anything to make you grow taller, its all in your hormones.
You've still got some years left to grow, eat healthily and get plenty of exercise.
I'm only 5'2" and I only wear high heels when I go out on the weekend. With your own personality you can always turn it into a good thing. Be confident with it.
You will probably grow another couple of inches over the next few years, but I doubt that you'll ever be over 5'4. This is a perfectly average height for a woman so I think that you'll just have to live with it. In high heels, you'll be 5'7! To give yourself the best chance of growing, make sure you get enough sleep, eat a healthy diet with enough calcium and protein, try sports that get you stretching and above all, stand up straight and don't slouch.
Hey Kid, do not worry so much, you tall than your mother now, you can keep growing up right, so, when you are 18 years old you must will achieve your target 5'4 feet tall.



I remember this when I was 14 years old, only have 5'1 feet, now I'm tall than 5'4 feet.

Is it true that there are some fruits and vegetables that you should avoid when trying to lose weight?


Answers: Maybe. Fruits and vegetables are good for you in the proper amounts.

However, you should eat fruits like avocado (yes, botanically speaking, it is a fruit) sparingly because even though avocado is healthy and contains healthy fats, it still has a lot of calories. In general, you should only be eating about three servings of fruits a day, because they do contribute their fair share of calories.

The only kind of vegetables you should avoid are enormous baked potatoes (smaller ones are fine and actually healthy) and anything with an oily, creamy, or cheesy sauce that will add a ton of calories to your meal. Most vegetables are under 100 calories per serving.

A final note on fruits. Don't overdo it on them because the sugar they contain in them (fructose) isn't helpful when you're trying to burn off fat and increase muscle definition. Stick with three med. servings of fruits, daily. Apples, bananas (they do NOT make you fat), kiwi, strawberries and other berries are best.

For vegetables, anything cruciferous (cabbage, brocolli, etc.) is great, as are peppers of all ranges, any salad green besides iceberg, celery, and carrots. They fill you up without adding a lot of calories.

food is actually so much more complicated then you would think just cause something high in fat does not mean it will make you fat, avocados for instance can repair already damaged cells that would be caner in 15 years therefor preventing cancer so whats worse 1tsp of fat or a cancer

Answers: Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, and protein. Go easy on the carbs unless you intend to workout (you'll need the energy then). Smoothies are good, but make sure that they do not contain sherbert (which adds a ton of calories). I have found that the Subway diet actually does work too.

Avoid fast food, fried foods, and fatty foods (like sweets). You can actually change your eating routine as well. Be sure to eat breakfast to get your metabolism going, but do not eat late at night.

Why is trying to lose weight all about eating?
Diets talk about food, how to fix it, what to buy, what to eat,eat,eat.
When 75 lbs overweight I got depressed. The depression led to a loss of appetite or recreational eating as I called it, Browsing at the door of the frig. Lo and behold the weight began to drop off because I STOPPED EATING SO MUCH. From 250* I dropped to 169*. Unfortunately I went back up to 225. I discovered drinking diet drinks or water and eating lots of fruits and veggies and 2 meals a day with NO EATING AFTER 7PM has led to a steady decline of about 2-3 lbs loss a week. Plus I now go to the gym for 45 min of machines and bike riding 4x/week I now eat 1 meal a day with lots of bananas, apples, cucumbers, salads, in between and nothing after 6pm.
For me losing weight was more a matter of changing eating habits and an emotional overhaul. Guys want to be "big". Well, if I couldn't be tall I could sure be heavy.

but make sure you work out daily!
and even if u feel like eating pizzas or candies...eat them,but in small portions...we all are humans after all..and do crave these foods..

Fatty foods like fast foods, and greasy foods, like hamburgers, popcorn, cheese, bacon, just foods with high cholesterol. And foods with high sugars like pies, cakes, candies, cookies and more.

How much calories, fat, and carbs should I have a day? And what is the max of saturated fat?

I am 5 ft 4 in and 160 lbs. I want to lose 30-40 lbs.
Answers: no more then 2000 cal. a day, and the less saturated fat the better. aim for none, (although that will never happen)
Limit your total fat intake to no more than 25% to 35% of your total daily calories. Total fat is a combination of saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fat.

Limit your saturated fat intake to less than 7% of your total daily calories.
you should only have

calories- 2,000 per day
fat- less than 500 grams a day
carbs- lay low
saturated fat- 10,000 ml grams
65 grams of saturated fat, 80 grams of total fat. Less than that is best, but you need to have some fat. Those are the guidelines for someone who has 2000 calories per day and is not trying to lose weight. No more than 30% of total fat
intake should be in one food. You need 1600-2000 calories. Atleast 60% should be carbs. Most carbs should be from starches. The more filling foods are the best. You might also need 64 ounces of water or more.

What are some good wakey pills.?

I used to take Ripped Fuel with Ephedra. Are there any pills out that are as good?
Answers: i was an Ephedra user and have found it very difficult to find something that even comes close. but i found...just two days ago...something that is "identical" to ephedra....at least the way it makes me feel. it's called "phentremine". found it online.....gets me going
