I joined slimming world and lost over 3 stone in total.
You don't mix carbohydrates with proteins (they call it green and red days) so for example one day you will eat carbohydrates and on another you will eat proteins but you don't have both on the same day.
I found it very effective.
Dont skip breakfast, eat less fatty food, drink lots of water, eat fruits and veg. regulally, and take vitamin supplements. Dont drink fizzy drinks.
Once you get yourself into the routine it quite easy. You can treat yourself when you feel you've achieved your targeted diet routine for the week. Treat yourself to a bowl of ice-cream or cheese-cake, or whatever makes you feel good about yourself to motivate you for the next week.

Answers: According to BMI charts anything from 52 to 70 kilos is within the healthy range.
Seems a pretty wide range but I suppose ideally somewhere in the middle.
Your weight should be within the range of 55-67 kg or 121-147 lbs. But the most ideal is 61 kg or 134 lbs.

Answers: No diet pills are safe
The best way to lose weight, is to go on a caloried controlled eating plan and exercise.
Better still visit a dietitian and get him/her to teach you how to eat properly, that way you will lose weight and not re-gain it
it is not safe to take diet pills. i took it for a few days and my heart start racing and i got to stop taking it. actually there is side effects when taking dieting pills

I am 15 years old and I wear a 30A bra, I feel really self-concious everywhere I go. I don't know what do cuz I'm really skinny so I tried to gain weight but it only goes to my stomach area and nowhere else. I tried to look for a push-up bra but I can't find any for my size :'( What can I do??Answers: I'm really small too, but I mostly feel self conscious about my legs. Some people view very thin as beautiful though, I mean, look at every runway model out there. Just wait for yourself to grow and don't worry about it. Because as you're looking at your image and wanting another one, someone else is looking at their image wishing they had yours.

How can I find out how much I weigh?
My jeans started fitting tighter and I think I'm getting fatter. I'm 14, about 5'4"-5'7", and I wear a size 3 jeans that are starting to feel like baby clothes. My mom won't let me weigh myself b/c she's afraid I'll develop an eating disorder. I can't stand throwing up, and I could never starve myself. so since she won't let me weigh myself, how do I find out how much I weigh and how can I control it without developing an eating disorder? Oh, and I eat healthy enough because my parents are vegan/vegetarian and fix such food for me too, and I get enough excersize. Also, I have a relatively high metabolism.Answers: Geez louise! The school nurse usually has a scale. I bet if you go to her and just tell her simply that you don't have a scale at home, and you want to find out how much you weigh, she'll let you use it.
As far as not developing an eating disorder, it doesn't sound like you are at risk for that. You sound very aware about your health and you said that you don't like to starve yourself or throw up. I don't think an eating disorder could sneak up on you because you and your parents are so cognizant of it.
Just continue to eat healthy, lots of vegetables and fruits, be sure to get enough protein by eating beans, peanut butter, etc. Keep up the exercise (but don't overdo it) and you'll be fine.
Size 3 is TINY for how tall you are, by the way!

Oh, and don't worry about telling the school nurse about why your mom won't let you weigh yourself (if the nurse asks). The school nurse has heard much, much stranger things!! Believe me, I used to be a teacher.
This "weight gain" is probably just you growing into your body due to puberty.
You are not getting fatter,tell that to your mom so she can let you get on a scale so you can weigh yoursef.

Your mom sounds like a control freak. Go to any hospital and ask to use their scales, or go to a store that sells scales and open a box and weigh yourself. If your getting fat, go on a diet.
try weighing yourself in a shop sometimes in boots

How Can You Eat Chocolate....?
Without Gaining Weight And That Is Not Fat Free?Answers: In moderation! Don't eat a whole bar, just a few bits is normally enuf to stave off the craving.
Hmm...this might be a challange,but,try not to eat chocolate after 8 PM.
Also,try to eat it in...small doses...such as a little now,a little an hour later...a little the hour after that,instead of all at once.
Eat only chocolate! I noticed that when I eat nothing but chocolate the whole day, I keep losing weight! Wierd, but true.
Don't eat it before you relax {or sleep}. And don't have anything cold immediately.

When I was on weight watchers I ate chocolate every day. And I still lost weight. Just fit it into your day, and exercise. It won't hurt you to eat chocolate.
try sucking it
my sis once saw a bit in a mag which said if you get a kitkat eat it and keep the foil wrapper, every time you feel like some choccy just sniff the wrapper.
try having the richer chocolate, like 70 % cocoa. Its richer in flavour, isnt as bad as normal chocolate, and you can feel satisfied by it by eating less of it.
You have to understand that every type of food has a certain number of calories. When you eat more calories than you need, you gain weight.
Chocolate has a very high amount of calories so it is easy to gain weight if you eat too much. When you eat chocolate occasionally with healthy foods, your weight stays the same because it gets the calories it needs and no more from other things.
(Having said this I don't believe it's a good idea to starve your self and eat all the chocolate you want because your body needs nutrition, vitamins, proteans and carbohydrates ^_^)

Just eat it like I do. Just now and then. A little bit here and a little bit there. Then there is no need for it to be fat free.
Why does it suck to have to wait sooo long for all the weight to come off?
I know they say when it comes off fast, it's unhealthy, you're losing protein or muscles and water, and you'll gain it right back. Why is it so hard for us to wait to see results when we know it's healthier for us? If we delay our gratification, are we really going to see weight loss? Or keep on scrimping instead of eating on the food with no end in sight, like a hamster that keeps running the same wheel?Answers: No, you're not the only one, that's why it is so hard for most people to lose weight, whether it is 10 lbs. or 100 lbs. The reason we gain weight is because of unhealthy habits. We eat too much, or eat the wrong things, and don't get enough exercise. Old habits are hard to break, and when it takes a long time of depriving ourselves of what we want without seeing any results, or seeing very little results, it gets depressing.
Personally, I am WAY into immediate gratification. That is why I love to do things like cut the grass, or clean house. As soon as I finish the chore, I can sit back and look at my accomplishment. I can see immediate results for my effort. With losing weight you have to wait to see any results, even though you are trying very hard every day, day after day. People that have never had a weight problem really don't know what it is like, and they think that overweight people are just weak-willed. It is alot harder than they think, and they should pray that they never have to worry about that.
Well you didn't add those extra pounds, in a week or a month.

Are you a male or female? Actually we have the same problem i'm 5'6' 1/2 and weight 110 pounds, male. I've done a lot of things to increase my weight but all failed and the only answer to my problem was I ate and ate and ate lots of food... my usual diet was 3 times a day but I change it to 5-6 heavy meals per day not including snacks. Well, how i maintain this, by taking appetizer medicine made from mushroom (Ling Zhi chuang yao wan). After 3-4 weeks i gained around 30-50 pounds and my body really changed from skinny to avarage figure. So maybe you can try this one by increasing your usual diet. Good luck my friend.

The more important thing is why are you doing this? If you're doing it because you're not hungry you need to see a doctor to find out what the problem is. If you're doing it to lose weight or because you're afraid of gaining weight then you may need to seek professional help. You haven't told us much at all but you do need to eat.

yeah it's called malnutrition and you could get really sick. Hell if it gets bad enough I'm sure you could end up in the hospital. The average person should eat six small healthy meals a day. that way your body won't store fat because it knows it's going to be fed soon. When you don't eat for hours on end your body will suck every single bit of fat/calorie out of your food because you body doesn't know when the next time it'll get fed. It needs to store the fat for later so you have little bits of energy for later. SO yes they are right, so I say eat something. You'd be amazed what it can do for your weight (if you have an issue with that). I use to eat once a day and never lost weight, heck I gained weight fast. I've started eatings about 5 times a day, all small healthy meals and have lost 20lbs in 2 months. Oh and I also throw in a little exercise. but yeah its worked wonders for me.
