Overweight and underweight?

i wanna know what the height and weight for overweight is and the height and weight for underweight is
also im 5'3 and weigh 90 pounds is that under or about right?
Answers: That sounds about right to me. At the end of the day, everyone is different and we all have unique skeletal structures. Those guides are only rough estimates as people who have a heavy thick bone structure will weigh more but may look fantastic.
The formula to decide your BMI (body mass index) is weight (kg) divided by height squared (m2). A normal BMI is between 18.5-25. Overweight is >25, underweight is <18.5.

Your weight is 41kg and height 1.6m. So your BMI is 16, which is grossly underweight. Talk to your doctor about this, as being this is hazardous to your health.
You are underweight. Normal weight for 5ft3 is 105lb-140lb.

Why do you feel guilty after you eat something?

I do, and I asked my friends, and they feel the same. It's as if you are too lazy not to eat, and decent people eat as little as possible, and as untasty as possible, if not at all. And they say on books and articles on fitness how bad you are when you eat.
Answers: I don't feel guilty about what I eat. I don't deprive myself at all. As long as everything is counted into my daily diet, it's fine. I eat quite a bit of food, it just consists of more healthy foods. Losing the weight that I did and not gaining it back without depriving myself is a good thing. Maybe you should find an appropriate daily diet for yourself that doesn't make you feel guilty after eating something.

I'm not saying that you diet, I meant your daily diet...meaning your daily food intake. Reading that your 5'7" and 100lbs...sounds a little underweight...and you're feeling guilty for eating?

What is a great excerise that makes you lose a lot of weight?

Answers: Weight training. Burns a lot of calories, and continues to do so at an accelerated rate for a long time after your finished with it.
Target the larger muscles, legs, gluts, back for maximum burn. Do the whole body, but the bigger the muscle, the more energy (calories) it takes to move it. Also, muscle burns something like 5 times more fat while at rest and in day to day activities, so the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn. You should mix up cardio to maintain stamina, as well as to improve blood flow and oxygen use.
Running will help you lose weight, but is extremely stressful to your body.
swiming with sharks

and boy what a work out either way your going to lose some weight
Hmmm... for me, I'd say figure skating, snowboarding, or swimming a lot...

Perhaps that's not what your looking for, though...

All excercise is going to atleast have a little pain - if it were any easier, it wouldn't be excercise.

Where can i buy phentermine with a money order and with no prescription?

Answers: Phentermine is highly regulated these days. It's next to impossible to get it, even over the internet, without a prescription. And even if you do find a site, it's probably not a reputable one.
The only way is to get it from a doctor.
None of the people I know who once ordered phen online still do it. The good online pharmacies have stopped selling it, and just scammers are left who gladly take an advantage of this situation. If you will find a real and reliable source where you can still order the real stuff online then you will be very, very lucky. Just keep fingers crossed the pharmacy will be in business until your order arrives, because it can get closed any moment..
I stopped using phen almost 8 months ago and
started to take acomplia after I quit phen. It also works fine for me and I am losing a pound or a few every week.
It is very popular in UK, Germany and many other countries worldwide. Not so much in the US yet.
This is good site for Acomplia info you anyone's interested

In online pharmacies only. Try the link below.

Have you ever eaten a low fat meal (as in... lean cuisine or lite and easy) form the super market?

And afer you were finished, gone straight back to the refrigerator and looked for something MORE to eat?
I am doing that right now! Those meals are NEVER big enough!
Answers: I usually have to eat two of them to feel like I am not hungry. It sucks!
LOL they are not big but some are more filling than the others. I usually grab some fruit, a cereal/power bar or (all bran) crackers

lean cusine meals taste best and their lasagna and paninis are pretty filling as are the pasta meals overall
Yes. Fat makes you full, protien secondly. Choose good fats, especially olive oil and that will help make you feel full and make sure you have enough protien too. Those prepackaged dinners don't work. Trust me, I've lost 142 lbs so far. LOW FAT DOESN'T WORK! Fat isn't bad, saturated fat is.

What is EDONOS?

what is it?
how hould you know if you had it?
Answers: Eating disorder not otherwise specified. This is if you have symptoms of an eating disorder, but don't fall into one category or another (i.e. anorexia or bulimia). Usually doctors use the DSM-IV and it gives specific criteria in order to diagnose someone. If you show certain symptoms of anorexia for instance, but your weight isn't 25% (I think) below the average of someone your height and weight, then you would still have an eating disorder similar to anorexia, but it would be in the EDONOS category.

How can I make my hips wider?

Answers: Have a baby
lbaker26 all the way at the top is right...your hip is bone and you really can't change your bone structure much..so to make your hips wider i can't really say. All i can advise is that you work on building muscle around your hip area...and when you build muscle...muscle pulls on your bone and makes it slightly larger and stronger, but i don't know if it would be enough for you to really see much of a change. So you are most likely stuck with your hip size now, unless you put on a lot of weight, which would most likely go in other areas of your body too...and that would probably be mostly fat tissue

How can you loose weight around the belly area?

How can you loose weight around the belly area, i work our constently but can not get the abs i want how can i ??
Answers: I find cutting out carbs gives me a flat tummy. Cut out bread and potato for a couple of weeks and Im sure you'll see a difference. Also fizzy drinks can make you bloat out so cut out these too.

You will only see your abs when the fat on top of them is reduced.

Hope this helps!
Change your diet, and do cardio, no amount of situps will make you lose fat off your belly.
For a woman to have Abs she needs approx 14% body fat.
NO!! dont do situps!! they are for once you have already gotten rid of the flab see situps build up muscle underneath the fat making u look bigger so first of do lots of cardio eg. running skipping step classes etc cardio is also quite toning
aside from sits up try also belly dancing, its an effective exercise for belly. if you're not familiar, you can get cd demonstrating its movements. have fun!

Am I too young to take creatine??

I'm 17 year old male.
I work out 3 times a week with weights and 5 days cardio.
Im trying to gain muscle and lose body fat.
I eat about 1200 calories per day.
I already take Glutamine and Whey powder post workout and was wondering if maybe I should take Creatine??

I eat high protein, mid complex carbs and low fat, enough healthy fats though.

Help!
Answers: All that JUNK at GNC is basically caffeine and chalk. The only real things they sell is vitamins, and herbal stuff. All that other stuff dehydrates your organs and actually inhibits your body's development. When I was in college, my professor was a RD nutritionist/dietician who had worked for NFL players. She told us that in many cases STEROIDS were actually better for you than the stuff at GNC, although she said steroids were bad for you as well. Her rationale was this, 'Steroids were illegal because they work. Anything that has ever worked at GNC has been taken off the shelves by the FDA. Having you kidneys shut down from chalk/protein overload is all GNC can get you'.
The supplement companies hire doctors to talk about hypothetical chemical reactions that cant be forced to occur in the body. The Nitrous Oxide myth is the worst. There is NO WAY to synthesize this in the human body more than what occurs naturaly! Save your money, eat more healty food, and reallize that at 17 your body still has alot of development left.
yes you are too young. you sound like you eat right and get enough exercise.
you dont need to ruin the good things you are doing for your body by taking creatine!!!
No creatine! It causes more problems and isnt' good for you. It thins your blood out.
Too young. Read up on creatine more. Its long term effects are not known, but it's been implicated in kidney damage/disease.

There are no shortcuts to gaining mass that are healthy. You body will eventually plateau anyway, and accept what your natural weight of muscle will be.
YES avoid any supplements. All they do is make The people that make and sell them rich.
Also take note they always put a disclaimer tat they are a nutritional supplement and then make no claims as to safety and efficacy.
Yes.
yup too young, your on the exact right track sounds like you know what our doing...depending on how much you weigh is how many calories you should take in...check this article on creatine side effects too

Best and most effecient exercises/stretches to do a split?

what are the best stretches and exercises to do a split? i punch on my punching bag alot and have a very powerful kick but i want to be able to deliver it at face level on taller people, and i feel that if i can do a split (both ways) i can definitely achieve that. so what are the best exercises, how long per day should i do them, and when should i reach my goal?
Answers: well a few years ago when i joined a dance team i wasnt able to do the splits and had a set time to get it down so i worked at it all summer every day and by august i could sit comfortably in the left and the right splits.....all i did was stretch my legs every day then when i was warmed up i would just sit in the splits and go down as far as i could where it hurt but not too much and every day just push yourself a lil bit more usually when i would sit in the splits and go down as far as possible i would sit in them for as long as i could stand it might not be the best thing but i was determined to get those things down! just dont stop doing them ever of you'll have to go through that process all over again. another thing that helped me get them down is doing high kicks and putting me leg up on a for example fireplace mantle and stretching it for a while...hope it works for ya

Why do people think girls can only do "girl pushups?"?

i am a girl, and i am able to do at least 60 REAL pushups. my teacher made it sound like girls can only do "girl pushups." (pushups on your knees) i talked back to him saying "most girls can do REAL pushups and why does he limit all girls to only being able to do girl pushups" he got mad at me and told me that in the end of the year he'll challange me to who could do the most REAL pushups.

i dont care who wins his lame contest, but i want to know why he thinks girls can only do "girl pushups" and not real pushups.
Answers: well... either he is a big chauvinist or...the girls in his gym class whine alot and he is not use to dealing with a real athletic girl. I am not putting you in the category as the whiners, but if your honest I know you have seen the girls in gym class whine, like "coach do I have to dress out, I have cramps" they think they are gonna embarrass him cuz hes a guy and they can then sit and chat for the rest of the class.
boys whine too, and cheat, when they call out their exercises they always add to their actual numbers. Coaches just like them better because they are on the football team, or basketball team.
I say take the challenge and kick their butts, I bet your friends could do the real thing if they just wouldn't take the easy route!
Way to tell him.
Guys should be able to do "girl pushups" too.
it shouldnt matter your gender, it should be your state of fitness.
wow ur 10X buffer than me... your a beast ( a complement)

im a guy.. nice... i wish i could do 40 D=

ignore what he says and beat his butt as a pushup contest...
Because your gym teacher is a chauvinist pig. If you can do 60 real push ups......tell him you would like do the challenge NOW.....in front of the entire class. And get him to place a wager on it..... Like, if you do more than him he has to dress as a woman for an entire day. Dress, make up, wig, the whole shebang. Tell him to "Put up or shut up."

I hope you win. Make sure you get an unbiased judge to determine who is doing them correctly and counting and so forth.
So I think the problem here is the name "girl pushups" because they're just pushups with reduced weight. Realistically, though, girls might prefer these because females and males have different centers of gravity due to proportions. Also, men will naturally have more muscle mass (and maybe a more aggressive and stubborn personality) just because of genes. It's great that you're so physically fit, but if you look, for example, at world records for physical events between men and women, men win everything due to naturally larger muscles, ect. Sorry you had to be on the rough end of that stupid name for a weak-person's pushup, but don't take it personally... you're the one who's very good at pushups.
And also, I'm sorry but most girls can't do real pushups, and it is a more effective workout for them to push less weight more times.
it just sounds like hes an insecure b*tch

but if hes a PE teacher or coach or something hell probably whoop you at pushups just cos hes had more training, but holy sh*t! 60 pushups is damn good i can do like 20 (17yr old guy)
but i never really add more on, im gonna start doing extra each day, like 20, then 22 next day, 24 next day etc

maybe he doesnt want women to do pushups cos it tones your chest (less teenage boobies for him to ogle at i guess?)
I agree with you completely. But guys naturally have stronger upper bodies than girls. So I guess he assumes that since girls have weaker upper bodies they can't do pushups as well (which makes sense). But that's awful that he won't accept the fact that some girls can do real ones.
