Exercise for your Hips!?
Does anyone know an exercise that will reduce your hips?Answers: When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

Hula-hooping! I haven't done it for years and years, but apparently it's good for waist and hips.
I was very good at it once but my waist was smaller! It was fun though, I might go and get one (hope they do bigger adult sized ones!)

I never jog during the week that i have my period because i feel too sick, is this a bad idea?
would i feel better if i forced myself to exercise anyway? is there an exercise routine that i could do thats less intense and still effective? thanks!Answers: Yea this is what I do, works so good...walk up hill on the highest incline of a treadmill, at a speed of 3.5...this tones and really works your thighs and butt, and speeds up your heart rate, and it really doesn't take alot of effort, I usually read or watch TV while I walk, and I don't even realize I'm working out!! What is the recommended dosage of Omega 6 per day?
I am looking for how much omega 6 I should be having every day. I do NOT get any in my normal foods because all I eat is whey protein powder. The only omega 6 I get is from borage oil and I am wonder how much borage oil I should be taking in ratio comparison to fish/flax oilAnswers: Excess Omega 6 in studies have shown that tumors can grow faster, larger and more invasive. Also a study at an LA Vets home showed that a group who had a diet high on Omega 6 had twice the mortality rate of those on a regular diet. So be aware of that.
There is no official recommended daily dose for omega-6 fatty acids. Taken in oil form, approximately 1–2% of the daily calorie intake, or 1 tsp (3–6 g per day), should prevent signs of deficiency in most adults. An optimal dose is around 3–6% of daily calorie intake, or 1 tbsp (9–18 g daily). Some researchers suggest that 10% of daily calorie intake as linoleic acid is required to maintain optimal function.
Is it possible to lose 20-25 pounds in 2 months?
i am 5'1" and weigh 127 pounds,i cut out junk foods, eatin whole wheat breads, fat free turkey or ham, veggies, fruits, eating 1000-1200 cals a day and i work out everyday or every other day, burn about 500-700 cals.
i don't think of myself as overwieght, i just want to fit into my size 2 jeans. i am in a size 4 now.
Answers: I don't think you need to lose that much weight, but that's my opinion. You could lose 20 pounds in two months, but you would have to stick to your diet and be very motivated. Weight loss is not as easy as it seems. It takes time and effort, but the end results are usually always pleasing.

Sure it's possible, but is probably not to healthy. You are plenty skinny as it is now. Work on your self esteem not your weight.
Help me lose abit of weight?
please help since having my son a yr ago ive put on 2 stone but i havnt got time to excercise working full time and my diet is mainly junk i know its my own fault but i want to know if there is an easier way of losing weight with out the excercise and the whole planning of meals i just want somethng simple as i cant cook either so if anyone can advise me or tell me there experiences thank you xxAnswers: the best thing you can do is just to cut down. substitute junk snacks for healthy snacks eg fruit, snack a jacks, jaffa cakes etc. you could try going on 5-10min walks with your son. even 1 a day is a start. hope this helps

be her diet buddy. encourage her to take a long walk on the park or malls just stay away from the fastfood area.
its a good thing that you care about her. i think you are the best reason for her to take off those excess pounds.

skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day

eat fruits at night if your hungry.

Measurements: Where is the Waistline?? Where do I measure the hips at?
I get confused...I have three measurements...at the narrowest part of my waist under the ribcage i measure 26", just above the belly button i measure 27", at the belly button level where i wear my jeans I measure 28.5"...so which measurement is the waistline??And when it comes to hip measurements I get confused too...do u measure above the crotch or at the crotch around the butt? because the first one measures 36" and the 2nd one measures 37.5"??

Answers: Yes, it can be confusing.
You usually measure the waist midway between the bottom of the ribcage and top of the hip bones. This is usually slightly above the belly button. As for the hips, you always measure around the fullest part of the buttocks.
So I would say your waist is 27 inches and your hips are 37.5 inches.

anyways your waistline is where the top of your pants end up. so you measure around that. your hips get measured by going around the hip bones. again yummy. take care.

How can I lose 200 lbs by July 2008 and what is a really good way to go blonde: bleach or hairdye?
Answers: you should not try to lose that much weight that quickly-try to keep your portions no bigger than your fist-eat plenty of fruits and vegetables-when you feel like a snack go for fruits or vegetables that have a taste to resemble the snack you are craving(raisins in place of candy etc) when you find yourself sitting get up and do something-play basketball or run whatever you would consider fun while you're doing it-dancing is good exercise too(including the horizontal bop)
hairdye is a much better choice if you have very dark hair start with medium ashe blonde and add light ashe blonde highlights-in a few months go to light ashe blonde-the more you dye it blonde the lighter it will get but be careful to do the strand test and don't leave it on longer than the recommended amount of time or you may be going bald instead-I don't know what triggered your need for a complete change of looks but perhaps you should seek counseling as wellmy friend tried to lose weight too quickly and ended up a wrinkled old lady with no teeth and she's not even thirty yet!
How about seeing a doctor? That much weight loss can be dangerous. I think the only way you could lose that much is to have your stomach stapled, but I am not an expert.

Can you change your body composition (i.e. muscle/fat ratio) with diet & 15 min/day of weight training alone?
If I were to:1.) eat enough "well balanced calories" a day to build 1/2

2.) weight train 15 minutes a day with progressively heavy
weight (4-6 reps) until total muscle failure, hitting every
major muscle group at least twice a week
3.) consciously walk an additional mile or two a day,
would I, given enough time, build enough muscle and lose enough fat to change my overall body composition?
Answers: I think you're seriously understimating the time and effort required to change your physical appearance.
15 minutes in the gym and a mile walk aren't going to do it.

You can avoid this unwanted belly by having a healthy eating habit. Also, practice a healthy lifestyle. Cut down on alcohol, soda, and sweets. Parents aren't always right. My ex-girlfriend's 5', 100lbs soaking wet and she's 25. Plus, short girls are hot.
Don't listen to Hitler. Not because he's Hitler, but it could be because you have a high metabolism. That could be why you're a little bit more on the light side. I'll use my ex as an example again. That girl would such her and my bank account dry whenever we would go out because of the amount she eats.

look it all depends... are you asking if you look sickly or thin..well i don't know because i can not see you. but if you are asking if you are"underweight" then you can google height weight chart and check for your self. like i said i can not see you to say whether or not your are too small. as someone else said small women are sometimes seen as "hot" so it really depends on whether or not the people that you seek your approval from are telling you that you look too small.

What does Kevin Trudeaus book say about emotional eating?
I was just wondering what his "cure" was for emotional eating. Products or systems he recommends. I don't want to buy the whole book. Can anyone out there give me the Kevin summary of it?Answers: Ah, funny seeing this question as I caught his infomercial earlier today on TV. Curious I did a little searching about his book and methods. The first thing I checked out was in name on wikipedia; among various Federal Trade Commission (FTC) fines over the years was a larceny and credit card fraud conviction in 1990 for which he spent two years in a federal prison. He is limited now to only promoting his books, and is allowed only that because stopping that would be in violation of his First Amendment (freedom of speech) rights. Based on the reviews (there are over 300 reviews just on Amazon alone) of his newest book 'Weight Lose 'Cure'' it seems his program is very costly, upwards of perhaps $1000 a month and requires you find a doctor who will give you injections of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG), a drug which is not sanctioned by the FDA, and getting upwards of 30 colonics in a 60 day period. Apparantly the majority of his book is a rant against the FTC and the FDA, which he claims are just in the money making business. Personally I would advice against not only buying his book, but likewise following much of his advice.
How can i burn off 131 calories?
i just had a packet of crisp. [darn] how can i burn off the 131 calories??Answers: Walk or go on treadmille. Even if you want to run or walk on treadmill it will tell you how many calories you have burned. Burn your calories till it reaches 131! Or if you want eat a smaller portion of meal in the evening to make up for those calories! Good luck.
