Diet Fitness Questions and Answers

Help with my tummy?

I have tummy which bulges every time I eat a morsel, and I look as if I have it attached to me! I am 106 lbs, 5'7, and do 300 crunches, and lift weights. Today I ate seven grapes for breakfasts, and it sticks out as if I put a balloon inside, and it seems that you can see these grapes. If I eat more, it bulges more! What should I do?
Answers: Your BMI is 16.6, which is severly underweight. There is no fat between your stomach itself and your skin (which I'm assuming is the look you were going for) so of course everything you eat is going to show.

You should: go into recovery. Stop "thinking thin," and start thinking about the rest of your life. 1 in 5 sufferers of eating disorders end up dead. Dead. In their 20s. Is that the way you want to go?

hey, go to the doctor!!

failing that, take some fiber and maybe see about getting a colonic done. colonics and clean out your lower intestine, removing any gunk that could be causing what you have.
Five Basic Nutrition Strategies For Healthy eating:

Eat High-Fiber Low-Glycemic Foods:
Low-glycemic foods are carbohydrates that breakdown slowly, releasing sugar into the bloodstream gradually rather than all at once. These foods almost always contain fiber. The fiber is what is mostly responsible for slowing the absorption of the sugars. These foods can provide long-lasting energy. Most vegetables (especially dark green), most fruits, whole-grains and nuts are high-fiber, low-glycemic. For optimal health, get your grains intact from foods such as whole wheat (whole-grain) bread, brown rice, whole-grain pasta, and other possibly unfamiliar grains like quinoa, whole oats, and bulgur.

Eat More Protein:
Your body requires more energy (calories) to process protein than it does carbohydrates. Eating more protein can increase your metabolism, thereby increasing your bodys ability to burn fat. Protein is necessary for your body to build muscle, and building more muscle increases your ability to burn fat. Good options include eggs, low-fat or no-fat dairy products, lean meat, poultry, seafood and whey protein supplements. Nuts and legumes are also excellent sources of protein; plus you get the added benefit of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Legumes include black beans, red beans, pinto beans, navy beans, garbanzos, and other beans that are usually sold dried.

Eat Frequent Small Meals Throughout The Day:
Eat 6 smaller meals per day, rather than 2-3 larger meals. This will ensure that you will supply your body with the necessary nutrients to build muscle and burn fat while increasing your metabolic rate. It will also supply a constant stream of energy to prevent fatiguing early and prevents the body from kicking into starvation mode. If this happens, your body will burn muscle for energy increasing your body fat stores as well as slowing down your metabolism.

Eat Balanced Meals:
I eat lots of chicken and fish plus an occasional serving of lean red meat. I love my salads and veggies. Beans, brown rice and whole-wheat pasta are my side dishes. I snack on fruits and nuts and even use them to top whole-grain cereals and yogurt. I drink fat free milk everyday which I use also in smoothies. My meals are simple and nutritious. I balance my meals by making sure Im eating plenty of protein and fiber in each meal.

NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST:
This is the one meal you cannot afford to miss! Jump start your day with a high-fiber, high protein meal containing complex carbohydrates, avoiding simple (sugary) carbohydrates which trigger hunger and sleepiness a few hours later. Choose whole-grain cereals that are loaded with fiber and protein instead of sugar (i.e. Kashi Go Lean .. or Oatmeal). Top with fat-free milk or soy milk and sliced almonds. Sweeten with blueberries or strawberries for a boost in disease fighting antioxidants. Smoothies are great for breakfast too!

I hope this will help
Good day

Answers: You are already less than 9 stone? do you really need to loose weight?
Be careful to allow the body enough nutrients to actually operate! alot of people make this mistake.................here is a scenario for you.

imagiane I give you 1000 pounds cash today....the same tomorrow.........and every day for a year...............what will you do with the cash??.................spend it right?? ok
now imagian i gave you 1000 today....non tomorrow.......nor the next day............but i gave you 1000 monday................but not tuesday.......what would you tend to do now?? save it right? yeh
so
to summarise...........you body is very intelligent................if you starve it of its nutirents it will hang on for dear life to what it already has [i.e. you wont loose weight].
if you feed it the correct amount of nutrients with the right balence of excersise...........it will shed the unessessary pounds as a matter of course!!
I hope this made sense...................
whatever you do ...............do it healthily!!
good luck x

My arms measure about 13 inches , how many inches may be removed Thru liposuction?

I have lost and gained weight thru out my life. They are some what out of shape. I stopped working out cause i was getting bulky and my cellulite was more noticeble. I think that this might be one of my last resorts :(
Answers: Unfortunately dieting or cellulite exercise alone will not influence your cellulite, and anyone with any body type can have it.

However, cellulite does get worse with age if left untreated.

There is really no need to subject yourself to such embarrassment or dangerous surgery! There is an anti cellulite solution - a natural cream. http://www.goodcindy.com is a site i've launched because I got rid of my cellulite.
Liposuction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Can our body bear too much jalapeno intake?, if not what would happen?

would we pass out or something?
Answers: JalapeƱos contain a substance called capsaicin that has shown to have anti-cancer effects. However the amount needed to achieve this effect is relatively high, with up to eight habanero peppers per week (roughly equivalent to 24 jalapeƱos). It should be noted, however, that excessive chili-pepper consumption has been linked to stomach cancer in India and Mexico.
If it burns going in, it is going to burn coming out. But that is pretty much the only down side.

Join a Fitness Club/gym
Also try some light weights for your arms(dumbells) .
Works for me :)
Keep it up ,physical fitness is very important Miss :-)
With your arms, repetition is better than the amount of weight that you are lifting .

Go for a larger number of lifts rather than trying to lift a heavy weight a short number of times, this should tone existing muscle. If you want to build muscle then start to increase the weight.
for your arms look at Greer Childers Shapely secerets, this works on arms, thighs, andall those fatty place hard to get.
she is on the net but you don't have to buy, you can find in the library she also has several other ones that I really like body flex breathing.

Also if you have some weights that can work also. one thing you should be thinking of is a colon cleanser, I kind a like the Holy tea you can find on the net.

once you get this done you need good nutritional products. be sure that they are natural.
some of the drinks are good also. Like Noni, gogi, mangosteen, Acia, and Opit berry.
If you don't mind the mess you can juice.
And buy organic when you can.

ONE thing to remember never eat proteins with carbohydrates . in other words your breakfast should be your biggest meal have your steak with your eggs eat more often and small meals, eat you baked potatoes by them self no meat. stop eating coupleof hours befoer bedtime.

you can email if you like
God bless
And good health

Going to the gym and working with a trainer is a good idea. They will tell you proper form and diet.

Can someone give me some good advice of how to firm up my stomach and thighs in 6 weeks?

Answers: You have to work out 5 times a week for 2hours and that's no joke :) ,balanced diet-you know the likes(fruits, vegetables)
Just eat small meals and don't skip breakfast, eat lite meals ,fruit salads, drink lots of water, avoid fats&junk foods, walk and do yoga.Squats are best for thighs and yes some firming creams after the workout:-)
You'll look great in 6weeks if you discipline yourself and stick to your plan!
the best thing to do is eat salad, swimming, avoid fast food, eat slow and in less quntity by this you can cheat your brain but see to it you do not eat in noisy place. you can do yoga or go to gym.at lest keep space of 3 to 4 hrs.

Why is it that when i diet i loose weight extremly slow but now im eatin junk food and ive lost bout 5kgs?HELP

i stoped dieting bout 3 days ago nd all im eaten is hot chips coke zero and cholate cake nd jatz LOL whats goin on ive lost the weight now ive stoped dieting... why???
Answers: Sometimes when you diet, you fail to feed your body the correct amount of calories it needs to to be sufficient in burning fat...thus losing weight. The less you feed your body, the slower your metabolism will be to prevent the body from going into starvation mode therefore your metabolism ends up coming to a complete stop. But losing weight slowly is the healthiest because it stays off longer. Dropping weight fast only ends up coming back. You've heard of yo-yo dieting right? Well if you properly lose weight, the better chance you have of keeping it off. Eating junk food is a fast fix for energy. You will lose the weight but it's going to come right back plus more so be careful. And what you dont lose will definitely turn into fat because you're eating fattening foods high in saturated fat. Not good for the arteries anyway.

They say losing 1-2 lbs a week is safe for your body. If you were losing like that, then you were doing good. But if you were losing like a pound or less a month then your body wasen't getting enough calories for your to reach your ideal weight. And don't forget to incorporate some cardio at least three times a week. That will kick start your metabolism real good.
Well, you're doing just what so many people told you you would do. Cash diet, give it up and pig down and gain it all back... just give it a little time you be packing it on eating like that. Until you get a common sense approach to healthy eating you will do this time and time again and be very unhappy at both extremes. You select the most extreme non-sense weight loss advice and disregard good advice. I really hope you see the light sooner than later.

Treadmill+Diet Pills+Eating Right 2 Lose Weight?

Im a 22 year old male, weight 250 pounds, and my height is 5'7. Im currently starting my diet plan to get skinny over the winter and my goal is to be around 180-170 or even lower.

Ive started out at walking on a treadmill 2 miles a day at 3.5 mph, using green tea fat burner diet pills (by Applied Nutrition brand from wal-mart), drinking slimfast, and eating smaller portions/eating right. Is this going to work and how fast should I see results? Thanks! :)
Answers: That is very good for you, I wish I had the time and character to drop weight naturally, but may be if I had that character obesity would have never been a problem for me.
For me acomplia has been the best. Phentermine also showed good results, but i started to get addicted and it had way too nasty side effects.
happy not to have any sides with acomplia so far.
I am losing a pound or few every week.
It is very popular in UK, Germany and many other countries worldwide. Not so much in the US yet.
This is good site for Acomplia info if anyone's interested

Treadmill and eating right are good ideas. Cut out the pills. They are all useless. There has been no research or study confirming their effectiveness. Don't believe all the ads.
You can consult your family doctor for an appropriate exercise and diet plan.
Good luck!

How to loose a few pounds quick?thanks!?

Answers: Losing weight is all about determination and many sacrifices. If you want to look good and feel good about yourself, you have to start a routine, and make it fit into your lifestyle. I've been told by men/women that I have a nice-toned-body; hey it takes years of excising like walking, jogging, and 3x a week at the gym. Always remember that what you eat is important because it all add-up afterwards as you get older. Just stay away or minimize from any salt/sugar food groups; most fast foods are dangerous. And maybe try drinking green tea after meals instead of sodas, beer, and etc... an Asian remedy. Hope this helps you somewhat, and not bored you somehow.
Loose fast, gain fast...
Why not try getting into a good habit of exercising instead?
i've been told that it will take time for you to lose. the only thing you can do is go on a diet well eat good food watch calories and exercise and over time you will lose. if you lose alot at first its probably water weight
exercise 30 min before you eat every morning, and drink water before every meal. also, take a friend out walking for a few hours having someone with you can promote inprovement, also cut out flour and add 100% whole grains into your diet to keep fit, and cut out most sweet thing and try splenda instead of sugar
Great post! I totally understand how you feel. I'm also trying to lose weight and I found this great product which is working for me. You can check the website at

Muscle weight gain for rugby?

Hi i train in the gym three times a week lifting weights ive been this for the last six months ive toned up and put on some muscle but not very much ive also started playing rugby and wnat to gain muscle what do you suggest i do to achieve this goal iam 5'9 and 11 stone
Answers: started working out at 14 years old. I was not exactly small, but not largely built either. Your genetics will have a great effect on how much your body grows into. Although this is true there is always weight training, and diet. Something you might want to look into is getting a weight set or joining a gym.

As for your diet, remember that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Never skip it. Start with cereal or oatmeal. Follow that with some protein (meat and/or eggs) and perhaps a few carbs (toast or pancake/waffle). Snack on unsalted almonds, fresh fruit, and raw vegetables. You are what you eat. Eat a salad every night before dinner.

If you do decide to start working out (I recomend weight training) make sure that you drink plenty of water (8 glasses a day). Although it is not needed, you can also look into muscle building supplements for teens 16 and under.

This might sound like a plan to get buff, but it can also be used to have a healthy lifestyle, and to help your body to strengthen and naturally grow into what you want. Have fun with it, and remember to do whatever you're comfortable with!
Hi

The answer to this is very simple - I have advised athletes for many years!

First, in rugby, strong thigh muscles are a key feature so do more work on your legs and try to increase your training in the gym to 4 times a week.

Gaining weight is simple - you dont need to waste your money on fancy supplements or potions.

You must eat loads of starchy carbohydrates. These are things like Pasta, Rice, Potatoes, Noodles in combination with the regular amounts of proteins like Chicken, Tuna, Beef.

The key here is each day have at least 3 big servings of starchy carbohydrate - fill yourself up each serving.

A big plate full of pasta with some chicken and some sauce of your choice is a good start for example. In my opinion, pasta loading is the best way to gain weight as it is a good source of carbohydrate, its very cheap and quick and easy to prepare.

Eating pasta on its own with your meats is cool but it can taste a bit bland so add tomato sauce, low fat dressing, Pesto sauce - experiment.

Remember, you need at least 3 big carb meals per day - really stuff it in!

Rice is also great and you can do lots with that too, a chicken curry with loads of rice, piella, cold rice salad.... the list is endless.

Potatoes are best mashed with a little butter and salt, baked or roasted.

You can get recipy books focusing on pasta and rice dishes at your local book shop, and if you get a good body building book, they too usually have weight gaining diets.

Dont neglect other nutrition like fruit and veg and drink plenty of water.

Finally, Milk, if you can drink milk, do so. You can drink milk in place of water up to 4 pints (2.2L) per day. Milk had a good anabolic effect on the body.

Email me if I can help further.

Why am i always hungry.?

im 16 and im like always hungry y is this?
Answers: Sounds like a normal 16 year old male.

Don't worry unless you are over weight, it takes alot of energy to go through the growth of a teen age boy.

As you get older your eating will change but for now just try to eat healthy foods when you are hungry and all will be well.
It is called puberty and if you exercise and are active it is okay and you will get out of this phase in a year or two.
