I have exercise enduced asthma, what are some ways that I can lose weight?
I'm not going to say my weight or any of that junk, but I need to lose weight and it's really hard to exercise. When I run or over exert myself, I can't catch my breath, as I'm gasping I wheeze, I get stiff, and it feels like all of my insides are being squeezed to the point it hurts. And my puffer really doesn't help. I need some suggestions on some good ways to lose the fat without passing out and/or having an asthma attack. Got any?Answers: I agree with freshbliss, that you should tell your doctor that your inhaler doesn't work for you. I had an inhaler that didn't do anything for me. I switched to a new one and it works pretty well, I still have trouble running but I can do almost everything else now.
For workouts, you need to try to do less cardio and more weight training and toning. Cardio is important because it keeps your heart healthy, but until you get a better inhaler, try things like yoga and pilates. They are both very good calorie burners, but shouldn't be hard on your lungs. Weight training is good too, because more muscle mass means higher metabolism.
If your inhaler is not working, speak to your doctor. There is big push among doctors very recently to make sure that they are treating asthma correctly. - In large part because they have found that there are so many people with uncontrolled asthma.
I would suggest that you speak to your doctor about better controlling your condition - because its really difficult to lose weight without excercise - not impossible, but much harder.
Well, I understand it is hard for you, but what about just WALKING every morning. I suggest taking it slow at first so you don't push yourself so start with a quick walk around your block, then eventually you will be up to 45-60 minutes. My friend and I walk every morning for 45 minutes(which we started out slow, too) and she has lost over 60 lbs!!
Good luck!

Flabby tummy and inner thigh is a hateful sight, cant wear sexy shorts. Anything to reduce it? Thanx?
Answers: GOSH >
You use the term "hateful". STOP HATING YOURSELF.!
You know you need to fix it.
OK> How old are you? This means alot-because if you're past 26-no SHORT anything.
You can do some tailored shorts, and wear longer shirts to hide your tummy. BUT> do something to change it internally>mentally and physically.
Think meat and veggies> 6 mini meals a day AND start LIFTING free weights. NOW. Tomorrow. I am starting tomorrow. I MUST GET IN SHAPE.
I am a single mom and about to REALLY start dating, so. Let's start tomorrrow. '
Conatact your local gym and ask to speak to a trainer. They can help you more than me-give them your history/injuries,etc.
BUT STOP cutting yourself down. *Use cocoa butter sticks on your areas....go to drug store. PURE COCOA BUTTER...to keep stretch marks to a minimum.
Ask GOD for intervention and help where you need it. God KNOWS you and what you need. ASK. and you shall recieve.
One thing-there is someone for everyone. Your mate is out there. IF you don't already have one....AND if someone tries to make you feel bad about yourself> kick 'em to the ditch!
Life is short anyway without being around a jackass.
* I know of a gal who is completely "enthralled" with herself-SHE IS HER OWN BEST FAN!! and she has a DOUBLE-WIDE BUTT! And she is a size 10!! She has confidence-why can't YOU? PLUS-she has wrinkly/baggy skin on her inner thighs...she STILL thinks she's hot....oh and her butt literally "hangs' off of her backbone. But she says guys ask her out and in clothes-she looks ok. This is why I encourage you to do weight training....so when that "moment" comesZ> U R ok widit.
Some of it depends on your current weight and age or recent dieting experience. If you have suddenly lost a lot of pounds, as with weight reduction surgery, it can be very difficult if not impossible to lose the flabby tummy and thighs. Also if you are older when you have such a weight loss, it is pretty hard since the normal elasticity of your skin is lost after a certain age.
So if you don't fall into those categories, you can exercise with abdominal crunches (AKA sit-ups) and leg raises while lying on your side. Better yet would be resistence exercises for your inner thighs like using those Thera Bands that offer the resistence.
And you might consider the biker shorts that have Spandex to hold all flab still. Just a thought. Definitely don't wear short shorts while still flabby! Not a pretty sight to anyone!!
you can use exercise ball. its work.

Answers: I was 14-16 yrs old and 230ish, I lost weight, be glad to help you out sweetie!
WOW I'LL HELP YOU OUT!
The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If you want anymore details, feel free to email me. Just please be patient for ppl seem to email me for advice on this, I will reply, don't worry! ~Adia`
im 18 and trying to lose wieght. and what is stone..lost 1.5 stone sound sbetter than losing 20 pounds. maybe i should try that!
anyway..i cut down my carbs and exercise 30 minutes a day..and i get the furthest possible parking spot at school haha..just so i ahve to walk alot.
leave your body alone for a few years you might slim down with nature.
please don't get caught in the world of size 0.
besides it didn't work for me did it ? eh
I am trying to loss weight too!
Sorry I have no advice but it has helped me by cutting down on snacks and doing lots of excercise.
But just to let you know your the only one! all the best xx
go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.
I know a girl who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!
i think that it depends on how much you weigh now.sometimes people are skinny and feel as though they are fat but in nationality they aren't.I am 14 years old myself and i think im fat but everyone else thinks differently. just think about all of the overweight people and see how you feel then.if you eat healthy and exercise, any extra fat on your body is sure to come off.
well im 15 and i want to lose weight but that ended up very bad and i ended up wiv an eating disorder and i hate it but bi live with it. ust be careful and do more exercise and eat healthy. if u want anymore help mail me x

Do you believe it’s better to eat full-fat regular pudding, or any “reduced” pudding?
Answers: depends if you need to watch your weight or not. No fat no sugar added pudding is great for people who want to eat less calories, but if that isn't a concern for you, the regular stuff tastes better. Some people also dislike sugar alternatives, sometimes in 'reduced' pudding.
it is better to eat full-fat regular pudding if you are underweight... but it's ok if you wanna eat some n you reduced the calorie for the other meals.. in it is good for you to have reduced pudding if you r planning to lose weight... whatever it is..you can eat wat ever you want..unless you know how much you should take!
Peoples opinion fat or not?
people always say im so skinny but i just dnt see it. ifell fat like i have all these bulges. generally would you think theyre lying to be polite? my bmis about 18.8??Answers: You sound like you're underweight (normal BMI begins at 19), and sounds more like you have a distorted body image of yourself. I felt like that for a long time, and eventually I realized how much time I wasted on being focused on something so superficial. Work on building other facets of yourself, such as your intelligence, career and your character. Your body will be the thing that carries you through to old age, so be sure to treat it like the temple it is. Feed it enough food, give it water, love it, and most of all, don't stress about being fat when you are underweight -- it's undue stress, and it will affect your health in one way or another eventually if you don't stop it now. I hate to say "grow up", but it's true -- you're thin and freaking out about something that doesn't even exist. I wish someone would've told me this a long time ago.
Well your BMI is healthy, just, so I would advise against losing weight. I would suggest toning up instead. I am in a similar situation. I know I am skinny enough and don't need to lose weight but I have 'wobbly bits' and the odd bulge that I am unhappy with. I am just making sure I eat healthy, drink lots of water and do a half hour work out every day, targeting the areas which make me feel 'fat'.It's only been a few weeks and already there is some improvement in my appearance although my weight has stayed the same. I would defiantly try that if I was you, it has made me feel loads better!.
Is This A Normal Side Effect?
Yesterday, I started paper smoking. You probably think I'm crazy but I roll up a piece of paper and tape it around and light one end and sometimes inhale on the other end. I call it paper smoking. Hey, it's much better than cigarette smoking! They're the ones with all the cancer-causing substances in them. Not this! And a few of y'all made it sound like I was suffocating myself! Cigarette smokers don't suffocate themselves. I normally weigh 135 pounds but after I took that first puff I weighed 137 pounds but my stomach was flatter. I have no appetite at all. I force myself to eat. This morning, I weighed 132 pounds. I lost 5 pounds! Is this because of paper smoking? I don't let the smoke go past my mouth. It never goes into my lungs. My stomach looks so flat and my love handles are getting smaller and smaller and I look like I'm entering the petite! Is that cancer? Is it normal?Answers: yes
Dude your Wilting from your "paper smoking"
better solution is go to a cornfield (the real tall green plants all in a row for as far as the eye can see) ,dont use the "alive' corn wait till its yellow(right before harvest).Take the husk off the cob and strip the brown hairs (silk) from the corn then wrap it up in a piece of the hush and fire it up you'll really enjoy that and you can inhale this. You could also stick the silk into a tobacco pipe and smoke it that way
I doubt you can call it "smoking" if it doesn't even enter your lungs. And since it doesn't, the only problem you're going to have is bad breath. I don't see how you get a kick out of this "paper smoking". Not very bright, are you?

I'm beggining weight training again after a long break...?
I'm beggining weight training again after a long break (2yrs)and I'm wondering about any new techniques in building muscle. Is a three day split still the best way to go? ie: monday: chest and triceps, tuesday: back and biceps, friday: legs and shoulders?Should I start with this again? or should I begin with an all body workout first and split in a few months? how long should i wait between working out one body part?
Answers: Hey Charles,
Yes work into it slowly, your muscles will all start to remember what is going on. And dont forget to stretch.
Best to warm those ol' guys up for 6 weeks first... to get them back into the swing of training....
http://www.redbak.net/pages/beginner.htm...
Then the typical deal is to put a day of rest in between for each body part.. however, for mass, I think it is best to cane each muscle group once per week on a four day cycle.... like this example .... http://www.redbak.net/pages/maximum.html
and throw in a few of cardio sessions for good measure.
Firstly I know this sounds like it may be defeating the object, but I would start doing light cardio and no weights for a few weeks to work the heart which is also a muscle and then start doing some circuit training after a couple of months i would then start to get back into serious training. Never do the lower body and then the upper on the same day as this is can cause blood shunting. Also lifting heavy weights is getting to become old fashioned I know a guy who never does heavy weights and he is building muscle nicely because of his nutrition, he is taking a lot of protein and complex carbohydrates. If yo feel you must do heavy weights make sure that they are done in good form so that you can feel the muscle working. Try doing back and triceps on a monday, shoulders and biceps on a wednesday, chest on a thursday, and legs on friday (you will have the weekend to recover).
Hope this helps
