Does anyone own some impressive relaxation technique that work for them to obtain to sleep?

I count numbers starting from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,...20, ..30....., 50,....100,....
Usually past I get to 500, I feel asleep already. Then I would stop counting and jump right into sleep.
Most teens want more or less 8 1/2 to more than 9 hours of sleep respectively darkness. The right amount of sleep is essential for anyone who wishes to do in good health on a experiment or play sports lacking tripping over their foot. Unfortunately, though, masses teens don't go and get adequate sleep.
