What are some foods with a lot of fiber in them?
Answers: There are 2 kinds of fiber, soluble and insoluble.
One type of fiber ( insoluble )is good because it causes roughage to clear out your colon and prevent colon cancer.
The other type of fiber ( soluble )enables your liver to excrete excess cholesterol and keep your cholesterol blood levels lower
The best foods with insoluble fiber to clear your colon are blueberries and wheat bran
The best foods with soluble fiber to help lower cholesterol are psyllium husks and oatmeal

For some reason these days I never feel full! Will I gain weight even if I'm only eating when I'm hungry?
Answers: It depends entirely on WHAT you eat! If your diet consists mainly of lean meat (white meat - chicken, turkey), not red meat if possible, roughage from fruit and vegetables, protein from the meat and things like cottage cheese (a bit tasteless on its own, but add chopped chives, parsley and spring onions to flavour it), white fish, eggs, moderate amounts of full fat cheese, lean bacon, semi-skimmed milk you shouldn't find you're hungry afterwards. Wholegrain brown bread with seeds added is good, too, and a reduced calorie spread like Flora or one of the butter substitutes based on olive oil will reduce your calorie intake when you eat it.
If you're eating a diet full of high-calorie processed foods,
high in carbohydrates like refined white bread, pasta with high-calorie sauces, lots of rice (brown rice is good, white is too processed and high in calories), fats and processed white sugar, candy, doughnuts and such like, you WILL never feel full - these things are addictive, and if your diet is based around them, you always want more because of this, and they don't nourish your body properly.
If you eat a sensibly balanced diet high in fruit and veg. lean meat and moderate amounts of fat or oil, drink lots of water and keep away from artificially sweetened drinks like Diet Coke and any other carbonated drinks, you should find your fruit and veg. intake gives you the bulk that stops you feeling in need of more, and also keeps your body healthy.

It depends how many calories you eat and how many you burn. If you are eating more you should exercise more to ensure that you do not store those calories in the form of fat.
How come purging doesn't get rid of calories? PLEASE answer?
This is strange.. I mean, if you purge all the ice cream you eat, how does some calories get absorbed? I thought they were all absorbed in the small intestine..or meat for example..if you throw up the meat WHOLE, then how do the calories get absorbed? I"m not bulimic, but i'm just wondering.Answers: Because your body starts to digest food in the stomach. By the time you throw up it's partially digested.
You need to get some medical help before you ruin your health.
Stop the purging, you are going to land in the hospital and frighten your parents terribly.
i dont know why but i do know that that is the reason why "most" bulimics dont lose a massive amount of weight, most bulimics are harder to diagnose because they are at a healthy weight.
How can i get nice pecs?

Hey a little info please?
does muscle milk really work? and if it does where can u get it cheapest? just the cartoons not the mixAnswers: i don't know for sure but if it contains proteins only but in a larger amount than ordinary milk then it would do nothing more, but if it contains certain hormones or chemicals it may work but you won't know how safe would it be.
I'm 15, BF% 19.9 - what does it need to be at to see muscle definition?
I'm really thin so I was quite surprised that it was 19.9 :/Please don't suggest ridiculous figures.
I'm still only a kid.
But all answers are appreciated :)
Answers: Why are you surprised? That is a pretty low body fat percentage for an average female. It is only athletes, body builders or people that do a lot of strength training that have lower body fat than this. Being thin has little to do with your body fat anyway. You could be thin and still have over 30% body fat. Don't confuse skinny with being lean.
Fortunately for you, you are already at the verge of being in the athletic body fat range, so gaining some muscle mass would probably push you into that category and you should see definition of your abs at around 16%-18% body fat. Definitely don't go below this percentage at your age.
I'd suggest gaining some muscle by eating a high protein diet and doing strength training at least 3 times a week. You can still do cardio, but make strength training the main priority. Try to eat at least 1g of protein for every 1lb that you weigh. This should be spaced out into 5 small meals throughout the day. And NEVER eat less than 1,200-1,500 calories.
Good luck : )
The idea that you need really low bodyfat to see muscle definition IS A MYTH. Lumpy muscles 'bulge' the adipose (fatty) layer outwards, so that you see their shapes.
However, reducing bodyfat can help to make more detail visible. It's different for each individual,so there isn't a 'magic figure', although 11 per cent is often quoted as a point where the surface features of the muscles start to show ('ripping up').
Unfortunately, the same figure is also a 'danger signal' to health professionals, because it's usually around 11 per cent bodyfat that female reproductive functions shut down. It's not a permanent change, but it can be damaging over a long period of time.
Getting down to 15% shouldn't cause you any problems, and if you are building muscle bulk at the same time, this will amplify the visible changes.
If all i eat is wheat bran cerial for a few days and water?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? PLS ANSWER?
if i only et that for a few days or that in the morning then about 100-200 calories in soup then wheat bran cerial for dinner and only drink water will i loose weight? and fast?pls dont say its unhealthy
mwa xoxo
Answers: Wheat bran cereal will bloat you up like a balloon, then you will be pooing through the eye of a needle... not much fun. You would be better off eating just vegetables. They have very few calories, taste better and won't be quite as rough on your digestive system.
I am very sorry to say this, but it is sort of unhealthy cus you won't get enough nutrients apart from fibre and water.
And 'a few days' won't work anyways. You might yourself losing weight in that few days, but once those few days are over, you will gain weigt again.
The best way to lose weight is to control yourself all the time. You can eat fattening food sometimes, but you will have to remind yourself from time to time. You will also have to exercise regularly. Try having a "Veggie Dinner" night every two weeks, where you don't eat rice/heavy carbohydrates, you just eat veggie stuff like melons, corn, mixed veggies, salad with very little meat, drinking mixed veggie soup....
This works. Exercise and control bit is very important!
I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her. I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at

Jumproping?
how many calories are burnt per one jump while speed jumproping?? I can't find it online anywhere!! lol it says 30 mins of slow jumping is 400 almost... But i don't know how'd i'd accomplish that i need a video to do exercise unless it's speed and i'm concentrating on counting. (bad attention span) does anyone know? or have any suggestions about a jumproping routine? thanks all<3
Answers: I like using a jump rope, but jumping for 30 minutes straight is pretty hard unless you are very fit. See a couple of routines here:

You may want to try this routine that alternates between 3 minutes of jumping rope and squats, crunches, pushups, lunges, etc.:

Will this work?
I am trying to maintain my weightloss.I eat a bowl of cereal, whole-grain, and a banana with skim milk for breakfast.
I eat a multi-grain sandwhich for lunch and a pear.
For dinner I have a bagel or a sandwhich or soup or salad.
Or a combination.
And in between all that I go for 2 walks.
Usually after breakfast and after dinner..
Is this going to help?
I sit in school all day and then I do computer work for my mom so I usually sit on my bum a lot but I try to get on two walks a day.
Answers: I totally agree with the first answer, you should also throw in some weight lifting too.... you're muscles will be burning calories all the time this way - even when you are sitting around!
I wouldnt have a bagel for dinner
you need more vegetables in your deit.
For dinner you need protien and nutrients,
For example: Chicken (grilled) w/ corn and maybe mashed potatos.
Its very healthy and thats how i am maintaining mine and it is working.
well, your diet sounds slightly too high in carbs. if i were you, i would try to not eat a bagel or another sandwhich for dinner. instead, eat soup, salad, baked potatoes, etc. you can try mixing a variety of vegetables together to because it is low in cals and is something you can eat lots of. and abotu the peanut butter thing. i don't think eating a peanut butter sandwhich or bagel would be a good idea. instead, try putting it on a rice cake, apple, carrot, or something else that is healthy and low in cals. that way, when paired up with peannut butter, it won't break your diet. and by the way, you will probaby have to start increasing your exersize as you lose weight. btu dont' be scared, there are fun ways to exersize like dancing to upbeat songs, going to the park at night with a friend, or just walking more while listening to music. ( i find music is very energizing) well, good luck!!
I just started using Hydroxycut along with working out and dieting...?
I was wandering if anyone else has used Hydroxycut and what type of experience did they have using it and what kind of TYPICAL results can i expect?Answers: I am using Hydroxycut and working out, eating correctly and drinking more water. It is work for me. I have lost a total of 15 pounds over the past 3 months. But everybody is different. I work out three times a week and someone else might work out 5-6 days a week.
Do not rush anything take your time and stay healthy.
I tried it and scrapped it about a month after - why mess with your body like that? All it does is dehydrate you, so yes you "lose weight" but not fat - it's just the water..... The best thing to do is to lift weights and cardio. I went from 150lbs to 124lbs (5ft 8") in just months on exercising alone. My workout routine consisted of 30 minute cardio (elliptical or jogging), 30 minutes weights (upper, mid, or lower section ONLY at each visit), and then 20 minutes on the stepper.... I also started eating healthier - and it was all done healthy!! So going to the gym 4-5 times/week plus playing soccer 1-2 times/week.
How many calories in a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich?
On whole wheat bread? Thanks!Answers: It all depends on how much peanut butter you spread on you sandwich and how much jelly you put on the bread..and all bread varies in calories! =)
Your bread package, peanut butter jar, and jelly jar all have calorie information on them. Figure out how much you're putting on your sandwich and add it up.
