Answers: If you fill yourself up on fruits and cut out all junk food, sodas, and processed food while incorporating some kind of cardio then you will lose several pounds a week at first since you are on the heavy side, then the weight loss slows down.

A diet is really never effective as a temporary thing. You need to make a lifestyle change to keep the weight off. I would say you probably need to lose at least 70 pounds to be in a healthy weight range. Try exercising and eating foods low in calories and high in protein and fiber. As far as a "fruit diet" goes, it's never a good idea to just stick to one food group. You'll feel like crap and you'll gain all the weight back the second you eat anything that isn't fruit. Just do it the healthy way.

I prefer low carb diets because I've seen people make more progress when they eat a lower carbohydrate diet.
With exercise you should focus on cardio and weights. Cardio burns a ton of fat and weights help to speed up your metabolism.

i dont know what fast is to you but to take it slower makes it healther ad it will stay that way longer. get into the habit of only 2 hrs. tv and 1 hr computer a day instead spend yout free tim out side or in the house cleaning believe it or not you burn calories cleaning. Also eat veggies and fuits thats all. do lots of tummy exercises

Yes, we all have belly fat. Getting rid of it fast? You might not want to do that. Getting fit and trim is more a matter of lifestyle and good health.

You need to get into a good routine.
You need to do two different exercises.
To burn fat you must do an aerobic exercise, like running or jogging.
To build muscle you need to do crunches or sit ups.
The combination is the only way to get results.

Easy way to lose 10 lbs?
i exercise,eat right and do everything i can think of...is there anything that works really well? obviously i havent found the right thing...i play tennis,do situps,run and use an eliptical...what has worked for you? besides a diet pill..i want to lose it the right wayAnswers: Reduce the amount of which you eat, and eat only fish (NOT fried), nonfat yogurt, nuts, and fruits/vegetables. Run at least 4 miles a day at 8 minute miles, do crunches and pushups, and drink painful amounts of water. Get good sleep, take naps wherever you can, and instead of watching TV, or going on the internet, read a book. With this lifestyle, I lost 3 pounds in a week.
Try increasing your workout and decreasing your calories (within reason). Eat 1200 a day and watch your protein and fat intake.

Green Tea!! It works. If you drink coffe in the AM, substitute it with Green Tea. Even if you are not a coffee drinker, Drink one glass of green tea (hot or cold) in the AM anyway.

Counting your fruits and veggies. Make sure to get at least 5 servings per day, and try to get them fresh! Do you think your parents will really complain when you start asking for more veggies?
Drink your water. Aim to always get 8-10 cups per day.
a) You can carry around a 32 oz. Nalgene water bottle and fill it up twice a day.
b) Also consider putting 10 pennies in your right pocket. Move one to your left pocket for every cup of water you drink, and empty your right pocket every day. Keeping them in your right pocket works because you will fiddle with them more throughout the day and remind yourself to keep drinking your water.
Join some sports teams at school. You will have fun while learning how to exercise right for the rest of your life.

plus most people mistake hunger for thirst so if u think ur hungary drink some water and wait for 15 mins. then if u still feel hungary then u are. then just eat something healthy

You know, I'm in the same boat and I'm beginning to think it just takes a lot more time to lose the last few pounds than it did to lose the majority of the weight. It's frustrating! I would just keep doing what your doing, simple changes like not eating after 7 p.m. or drinking a little more water. Sounds like your strength training is going well...maybe taking something like creatine to push past the plateau, although that's controversial. My doctor told me that your body replenishes itself and changes every so often, sometimes your body just hangs on for a few months, then it will let the rest go. I'm still waiting to find out.

what weight should an average 6 year old boy weigh... thanksAnswers: Your doctor or health visitor has tables of height and weight percentiles. The spread of what is "normal" is very wide and i think average is a very misleading concept as all children are different. I think you should be concerned that he eats a healthy diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables. Not too much processed food. Make sure he gets good exercise and not sitting in front of the p2 and tv all day. Walking is good, and swimming.

Yoga folks - what DVD do you recommend?
I used to go to yoga a couple of times a week, but I wont be able to go in the future. I have a hard time doing yoga without something to follow along with (I'm just that kind of student)I would like something to help me build strengh if that matters, but I'll check out all suggestions on amazon.

Translation of the chart, no, your not overweight yet. If you gain 10 pounds you will technically become overweight at your height.

No. I am 29 5'7" and weigh about 172lbs with a C chest and I am definitely not overweight i do however have a ghetto fabulous booty LOL. You have 5 inches on me so I know you can't be overweight. It can be hard to be shapely at this stage in your life trust me I know. Between the jealous girls and the hormonal guys it can be very confusing, but dont worry you are fine.

Only eat healthy food and cut down on Carb’s like bread, potatoes, pasta's, rice, cereals, lollies etc. These are the fat making foods.
Don’t add salt to your meals. Cut out soft drinks.
Then walk an hour every morning two hours after a meal and the same in the afternoon.
If you can jog in between both sessions you'll burn even more calories.
You should lose and continue to lose more weight as you go.
If you can cut out your lunch meal and replace it with a protein drink instead that would also help. Available in supermarkets.
As long as you can stay off junk food and eating in between meals. If you have to eat something in between have something like small raw carrots or celery sticks.

No. Not to discourage you, but anyone that claims they have a pill that would specifically make your breasts larger (or smaller) are lying to you. So don;t be fooled.
Now. Exercises that target the abs and gluteus (your belly and butt muscles) will only affect your breasts in this way: as you lose fat, your bust measurement will probably get smaller.
You can counteract this somewhat by exercises that build up your pectoral muscles (the muscles in your chest under your breasts).
My advice is to work on the toning of all those muscles, and you will look (and feel) so great, a tiny reduction in your bust size won't bother you a bit.

No, there is nothing that will make your boobs bigger unless you gain weight. You could try and do exercises that focus in on your stomach and butt (sit-ups, squats, etc.) to try and tone those areas.
Is This True? 500 Jumping Jacks A Day?
Someone Told Me to do 500 jumping jacks a day, and by the end of the week you should have slight results especially at the chest area and if you keep this up, your muscle in the chest area would start to show. is this true?Answers: No, not true. Jumping jacks offer little resistance, therefore little muscle growth. They are basically a warm up for real exercise.
maybe, sorry cant help never heard of it, i thought jumping jacks were more of a warm up with slight emphasis on your jumping muscles
but in order to see results ( if that is possible) i believe you would have to also include some kind of cadrio with your jumping jacks
but try it and find out and please post the results
