Well, I have given up soda for over 3 weeks immediately.
In place, I drink water, hose down, water, and more hose!
I have milk, 1 chalice, 5 days a week or more. I try to drink 1 glass everyday, but some days I forget.
Sometimes I drink 1 serving of fruit liquid.
And other times I get sick of wet so I put Crystal Light Powder in it.
Personally, I loathe tea, but I've heard it help with solidity loss.

I started a weight loss program and give up my one pop a day by finding flavored sparkling hose down. It tatses like pop, but is dampen with 0 calories. Found mine at Walmart. Hope this help! I replaced it with the flavored, carbonated hose down. Since I did not care for the carbonation, I would permeate half of my chalice with plain filter water and the wife with the flavored, as that would get rid of the bubbles. As the flavored water become more expensive, I would put in smaller quantity and less until I eventually weaned myself from it. However, I did achieve in the craving of putting lemon juice and sweetener surrounded by my water. After I widely read of my pregnancy, I weaned myself from that, thinking that the sweetener was not fitting for my baby. Well, I be still drinking about one diet cola a sunshine by then, too. I cut stern to just two or three a week (I switched to caffeine free diet sodas) to none. Now, I don't even thoroughness for soda, except for the occasional diet Sierra Mist, which is what I drank when I had impossible heartburn if the vanilla soy milk and/or the Tums weren't effective and I didn't consistency like suffering through it.

Now, on moment in time I do drink an all-natural root beer, but not often as they do contain unnecessary calories and cost more money than soda.

For the most part of the pack I drink coffee (during my pregnancy, I went to full caf each day to half decaf, partially regular two or three times a week, now that my nursing daughter is four months prehistoric, I'm back to full caf daily), plain filter water and vanilla and chocolate soy milk and the occasional partially of a bottle of beer. (Pre-pregnancy I would drink about three bottles in the order of every other week, now I only just split one with my husband for the savour. Occasionally, I can have a full one but I don't do any more than that as my daughter is still nursing every two to two and a half hours.)
I found it easier to replace near ice tea at first. I really didn't approaching water. Then someone told me to find a big styrofoam cup like at Sonic packed to the gunwales with rime and water use a lid and straw until you get use to the taste of wet. After a few weeks of this trick I actually love marine and carry a steel river bottle with me adjectives the time.
