no pills, no drugs, NOTHING can take away your cravings, because they are simply emotions and you can't get rid of them.
the only two things in the UNIVERSE that can help you get rid of ur cravings would be:
WILLPOWER and DETERMINATION.
goodluck. ♥
• i believe you can do it :D •
Pinch your nose for 10 seconds aswell as your earlobes when you start craving junk food, i heard it works, give it a shot. Hi: I think you would find that if you would add a tiny bit of fat to your meals, you would find it more satisfying, not to mention the fact that having fat (like peanut butter, for example) in your stomach with your meal slows down the digestion of that meal, which lets you feel satisfied and fuller longer.
Try adding half a slice of toast (or a rice cake) with two teaspoons of peanut butter at breakfast; perhaps a half-cup of cottage cheese, a tablespoon or two of half-fat cream cheese, or a Babybel or Bonbel cheese round (they're like 100 calories each) with your fruit salad lunch. I think you'll be surprised at how much better you'll feel, and how reduced your cravings will be. Another great snack is carrot sticks or carrot slices with peanut butter; you get alot of CRUNCH from the carrots and creaminess, sweetness and fat from the peanut butter. For dinner, try adding some dinner salad to your tuna and potato entree, with some reduced-fat dressing.
Remember: some fat with each meal will increase your sensation of satiety, will slow down your digestion so you feel fuller longer, and will help reduce your cravings. Do it carefully and measure your amounts, keep track of the calories, but I think you will find this REALLY helpful in fighting the battle of the bulge and your cravings. GOOD LUCK!
~Hi,
Try adding low GI foods into your diet, it takes longer for the body to break them down so you feel full for longer. Add a few snacks at mid points in the day, by snacks I mean a piece of fruit, a small salad, etc.
I'm following Rosemary conley's diet and it's working really well, it follows those ideas and I find on most days I dont miss the junk stuff, theres also room for a small treat here and there on it so you do get to have the naughty staff, just in reasonable amounts.
