Are protein shakes successful within substance loss?


I'm taking a nutrition class and my teacher said that drinkingwhey protein shakes or even increasing your lean proteins is not an decisive method in trying to lose shipment even when you incorporate excerise. I just needed to know if this was true?


Answers:    Well, you necessitate protein in charge to build muscle. But if you're already getting protein, adding more within the form of a shake isn't necessarily going to help - especially if you're totalling it onto the rest of what you eat, as challenging replacing something. Plus, if you're not paying attention to what's surrounded by the shake, you could be getting more sugars than protein. . . .

On the other hand, my brother get a personal trainer, started exercising heavily and routinely, started making his own protein shakes for breakfast, and built muscle while losing weight, so they clearly do have a place.
No protein is first and foremost to build up muscle or when loosing weight your skin dont stay flabby! My mom is diabetic, and this is what the Dr told her...that Protein will assist you feel hungry longer. My sister freshly had gastric bypass surgery and her Dr told her that the protein will back her not loose muscle mass, and help her muscles not deteriorate. My mom's Dr also told her that TOO Much protein is desperate for your kidneys. *shrug* This is kind of confusing to me, but this is what the Dr's hold told my family member.
