Is it possible to burn 500 calories walking on a treadmill for 2 hours respectively hours of daylight?

Im 16 and weigh 261 pounds. Im getting a treadmill next month. If I spend an hour on the treadmill for an hour contained by the morning and an hour in the evening, could I burn 500 calories? Also what would be a well-mannered brick walk? Is 2.5 MPH brisk walking? Sorry I dont know lol

I read on this site that if you hold 2.5 MPH you can burn 330 calories in an hour. Is this correct?

Answers:    3-4 mph is "brisk" walking. But 2.5 is fine for someone a moment ago starting. The faster and longer you walk, the more cals you'll burn.

Here is connection to exercise and calories.

Good luck.
3.5 is a brisk walk. Some those can even walk at 4-4.5, but at that point i enjoy to start to jog. But for your cargo you would definitly burn 500 calories walking briskly for 2 hours a day. ya but you see its not the amount of calories you burn when it comes to walking.what you call for to do is get your heart rate up..i can amble for hours and hours..and for all i know my body can be use to it..and wont burn as much fleshy and you'd think it would.what you obligation to do is do somethoing that will get your heart rate at its crag..like running, swimming, jog bicycling etc.why walk for 2 hours and be surrounded by hope of burning 500 calories when you can eat correctly, and work out for 30-45 min a time and burn 300 calories or more by doing some excercises to get your heart rate up
if you up the incline, you will burn more calories than if you don't up the incline, you should unhurriedly increase your speed up tp 3 miles per hour and yes, you can burn that and more in an hour and a partly If you walk for 1 hour at 2.5 MPH you burn 142 calories. 2.5-3MPH would probably be consder a brisk way of walking for your age.
According to the following calculator (Brisk walk beside a dog) you will burn 1033 calories. I have no concept how the dog figures into the caloric burn (Are we discussion German Sheppard or Daschund?).

You may want to look into high-intensity sessions, as you get accustomed to doing cardio, after a couple of months. Check out the second link.

The calculator also computes that you'll burn 250 calories if you kiss someone for two hours. Could be another risk...
