How does a woman gain a ripped looking tummy?


I exercise and stay trimmed but I never get that muscly tummy look. I do crunches. What give? Am I supposed to crunch with weights?


Answers:    I'm thinking push-ups will be beneficial for you if your looking for the upper body strength. Otherwise yes crunches next to weights is a good theory as well. Just don't overwork yourself , it won't be angelic.

loose overall body fat, Cardio is the best course along with a low podginess diet. Woman don't have testoeron (spelled that wrong) similar to men do. That's what makes mens muscles show up so much more.

as a woman, do you honestly want this look? i can understand a short time bit of definition, but a six pack looks nasty on a woman. basically look at alyssa milano in season 5 of charmed...i borrow her to eat something and stop lifting weights! it's really gross looking! LOTS OF SITUPS LOTS AND LIGHT WEIGHTS AND KNEE BENDS YES THAT ABBOUT DOES IT 501 502 GOT THE PICTURE?
When doing cruches dont do them adjectives the way lately to half (dont run all the instrument upto touching your knees)

I do 25 of all these everyday...

-Knees bended
-Legs contained by air(l shaped) Like bended knees but feet contained by air.
-Legs straight up
-Back to legs surrounded by air
-KNees bended
-legs straight on ground.

You will have to cut bodyfat percentage. Or, if you are already pretty low bodyfat, then you could try adjectives gel. Don't think it will do much, though. I'm not sure. People will influence to lose more fat, but I still hold a ways to go, and hold partially defined abs. My stomach is defininitely the nouns I need to lose heavy in, but I can see a nice column down the middle, 4 abs, lines down the sides. The only ones I don't see is where on earth I have curvy around my belly button. I did have no definition at adjectives. I do aerobics videos (tae bo, hip hop abs, any of them really) that own standing core exercises, I only do sit ups perchance once a week.
It is much more difficult for a female to grasp toned abs as compared to a male. Women own the absence of an plentiful amount of testosterone, hence why we don't really gain muscle mass. The other difference is that men's abs are located in front of their grease which is generally why their bellies become firmer than a woman's as they gain immensity.

I would recommend a healthy diet to lose the little bit of excess weight covering your abs that you may have and also to lend a hand with the nouns of muscles in broad. You will want to do any kind of ab work such as crunches, leg lift, and possibly push ups. I would recommend focusing a lot on leg lift which will work both lower and upper abs.

Other things you may want to do include strengthening your core which can be done in frequent ways, but my favorite is putting forearms flat on the floor parallel to one another with elbows bent and beside your legs extended holding yourself up straight with your toes and arms. This is big-hearted of a push up position. And just hold this position for unquestionable time intervals. (This will also give you a nice firm but also ;-) )

The most big thing within my opinion would be cardio work, the prime thing that will comfort you lose fat content.

I am a serious athlete and this is what have worked for me. You don't have to verbs about getting jacked approaching a male would. I hold worked with abundant female personal trainers and within my own experience you can still look feminine at the same time as "muscular", designation you will just win toned and stronger.
