Answers: an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes beneath something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hand hold a little dumbbell. Please, get sure that it is not very starchy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will mar your back and spine!
Slowly move the upper fragment of your body back, until it's parallel next to the ground. Stop for a second and move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times.
Every week put in to the number of repetitions.
You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or be aware of under the hefty - if you have any - six pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches - I come up to three hundreds and there be no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
You can't bring back a 6 pack with abdominal exercises, unless you do them surrounded by conjucntion with exercising the muscles below the antenna and above the chin correctly :)
You can't spot reduce large. You have to shrink overall body fat and normally the fat around the middle is the final to release.
I also tell my clients to munch through smaller meals more times (5-6) per time. When a body is starved it will store fat. When it believes that times are honest (when it's being nurture good nutrition often) it will release grease.

To get nice ab definition first do regular sit-ups until you are tired. Then do something like ten to twenty sit-ups while holding a weight down your head. Start next to a light shipment that feels comfortable and one and only a few repetitions at first. (For comfort you may want to wrap the weight within a towel.) Over a period of a few weeks slowly increase the freight and add more repetitions.
